  1. Pms replied to, the carbon lip is now staying on the car as theres a small hole on the underside ive found which Äevalues the part to the point where it isnt worth the effort in removing it. Sorry to all interested.
  2. @jmanji there are no spacers on the car as far as i am aware. All other PM's should be replied to.

I do have additional more indepth photos of individual items, barring the exhaust and coilovers as they are fitted to the car so hard to photograph. All parts are in used condition, but all in good working order. If you are interested in anything please let me know and i will supply you with further photos showing individual condition of said items. If there is anything else on the car that isnt advertised above that you are interested in feel free to message me about them. Thanks for looking.
  5. In regards to more pictures i will get some better shots of individual items with my username visible to comply with sale rules and make a new thread in the correct section dependant on interest.
  6. Not quite sure yet whether or not i will be going through with this, im currently looking to buy my first house and the zed realistically needs to be sold to help fund this. I have the car for sale at the moment and have had a few viewers but people seem to prefer a stock car rather than heavily modified, although i do understand it is quite a niche car. If i were to break the car i would need stock parts in return and could offer to either have your parts sent to me to which i would fit them and send the parts back to you once completed, with work i would probably need around a week for turnaround of parts. Otherwise i would be happy for you to come to my house on a weekend and we will swap the parts out over the course of the day. These are the parts i would be willing to sell, they are all in used condition, but all usable, if anyone is interested in anything could you please either PM me or reply in this thread so i can keep track of what people may want. 7. A DA should be fine for what your after mate, they can cut through some pretty serious paint defects aswell. I would highly recomend doing some research over on detailing world to learn a good technique to get you started aswell. This was one of my first attempts learning on my dads accord. As you can see the paint was very scratched in places and full of swirls. Using one of the starter kits from CYC posted above i managed to get to this in around 2 hours. Not perfect but a great improvement from before and relatively easy as long as your patient.
  8. Ill take the buddyclub bungs please send over payment details.
  9. Always had nothing but great service from emperor garage in oldbury, might be a bit far from you though bud.
  10. The filter is so easily accessible just turn it by hand, bit of force and a grippy glove and your done
  11. Heres mackie, 3 year old welsh terrier, grumpiest dog ive ever known. And my other dog Red, 5 years old now rescue dog who had a poor upbringing before we took him in.
  12. Thought id add some competition Nismo spats and spoiler, veilside lip, 5zigen wheels, buddyclub pro spec 3 etcetc
  13. Gave you a wave and a nod as you came past, couldnt tell if you saw me through your tints though. Are you a local owner or just passing through?
  14. My advice is to buy a DA over a rotary, you would have to really mess up with a DA to leave any lasting damage whereas a rotary can take away a lot of material very quickly and without a PDG to give you an idea of your paint thickness could lead to panel resprays if it goes badly.
  15. One of my first cars besides boring stuff, a mitsi colt, with an engine swap, painted by myself. Then i moved onto a CRX Which also ended up with an engine swap/cage/buckets/big brakes etc And finally also got the satin black treatment, and is now owned by tegiwa Then i turned into a grandad in a 528 After catching the RWD bug i bought this stage2 14a Had this thrown in there somwhere aswell The 14 ended up looking like this before it was sold Which led to my first Z which i then traded in against this Z
  16. weapon, never been a big admirer of these but i can imagine with those figures this is a lot of fun.
  17. My car is about as low as above, and i dont think i have scraped once over bumps, best way to take them i find is to just go really slow over the ones that are one solid bump for the whole road, or if its a split bump put your drivers wheels in the gap between the bumps and passenger wheels pretty central, obviously again taking it nice and slow.
  18. If i do end up going for the lacquer option i would be taking it to a professional, ive sprayed stuff in the past but wouldnt fancy any mistakes or issues that come from DIY painting.
  19. Upon purchasing my Z it had a carbon bonnet, spoiler and front lip, but the spoiler and bonnet were in good condition but quite cloudy in places from UV damage over the years. I visited my local detailing shop (midlands car care) to ask what there advice would be on the matter, they told me i should be able to cut the lacquer back a little to reduce the cloudyness using my DA polisher, so i purchased a few recomended products from them and set about having a go as i figured worst case scenario means i have to get them relacquered. I thought id test it out on the spoiler blade as it was simple to remove and allowed me get it easily under cover out of the poor weather. I started out by claying the spoiler to remove any surface contaminants, and then once dry used a soft pad and auto finesse tripple on the DA. This was the first section after a quick pass compared to the original finish ( the cloudyness seemed a lot worse after claying ) I then did the rest of the spoiler but could really have done with using a harsher compound and pad as it still has a little hazyness left. Next up is the bonnet although i think relacquering may still be the best option for the best finish.
  20. Thats twice now on this forum people have chose to scour my photobucket from an image link, think ill be turning stuff private saves seeing 5 year old pictures every time i post something, and btw thats now even me.
  21. Im pretty sure i have done that track in a faster car, sure i was chasing a sub 2 minute lap, obviously not in the zed. Best bets i guess would be a quick snap on your phone of the time. Not sure if it shows the PI of the car your in though or just make/model.
  22. With the stock Z i found you just need to be really subtle with the accelerator as it loves to oversteer through the sweeping corners but its actually well suited to that track.
