  1. Sorry, I completely missed out the plenum bit in your to do list lol.. Good choice
  2. Nice Zed so far mate, keep it up. Looks like you need the same thing as I do - a polished plenum!
  3. Nice work! I've never fitted bushes myself before, are special tools needed? What site did you buy your bushes from?

    Brake judder

Mine judders a little bit too when breaking at high speeds. It was extremely bad, then I change my discs and pads and now it's not bad, but it still does it. What's a DTV Alex? Sent from Tapatalk
  6. Good stuff, I bet it's a relief driving with no knocking now! Sent from Tapatalk

  8. Sounds good to me Put me down +1 if im not too late please
  9. Welcome mate, nice car! Its a shame that its not a Nismo exhaust, woulda made it worth a little more. If you have rattleing underneath I wouldn't put your hopes on it being a rusty strut as there is a lot of common issues that cause knock/rattles P.s fair play to you for owning a Z at 18! I'm 26 and (without sounding big headed) my Z is far faster than any of my closest mates cars.. Your mates must be intimidated Enjoy the Zed
  10. Awesome work mate! I wish I had access to the stuff you do lol. Your zed looks 10x better IMO
  11. Great work Chriag! What colour paint did you use to spray your engine bay orange and where did you get it from?
  12. Nope, arb bushes and both drop links I replaced first Sent from Tapatalk
  13. Not even if the ball joint is gone? It's a very loud rattle when driving on uneven road from both sides of the front wheels. One mechanic said he thinks it's the something on the top of the shocks that's knackered? But he guessed that without looking and because he couldn't find anything obvious underneath Sent from Tapatalk
  14. Ok thanks guys. It's not quite resting on the subframe but it's not far from it. I'll get them replaced first and hope for the best Sent from Tapatalk
  15. Before I spend the money I just wanna see if anyone can confirm that the bush is worn, I've been told that my knocking noice could be a couple of things but I think I'll replace the BA's first.. On the first picture you can see some fresh black rubber by the looks of it, is that a sign of a worn bush? Sent from Tapatalk
  16. To be honest, I'm useless my dad is quite handy and has a go at anyting tho lol, very usefull!
  17. Cheers guys. I didn't lacquer it straight after, but I took it off a week later and lacquered it, so in the first pic it's not, but it's got a couple of coats on in the picture with the sub in lol Sent from Tapatalk
  18. Few bits I've been up to over the last few weekends Break discs and pads: I went for the Kinetic discs and bembo pads after hearing good things about them. After taking off my discs it all made sence why my car felt like it as going to crumble to pieces when breaking hard at high speeds! Inner rear discs absoutley knackered: A may fly pokng his nose New ones fitted Hydrodipped rear strut platic: My dad brought a hydrographic kit, hes basicly dipped everything in his house apart from the dog Got him to do this for me: Using the bath cause his tank wasn't big enough lol Sorted out the carbon air intake, just took off the rusty old screws and used self tappers which brought it to the bumper properly and closed the gap! Ill be painting the tappers in black soon: Greedy inducton kit installed, sounds wicked. Makes a loud "tssst" when you accelerate as it sucks in the air (No picture yet) New sub box This is the new box we built for my 12" 3000w vibe: Gold/bronze lug nuts: I wasnt sure on these as they looked gold in the pics, but it turns out they are a great match to the body work! I have a couple of sets of these for sale which ill post up soon. Still need to spray the center caps though Tinted rear window: Again, DIY with my dad and a heat gun. Couple of small bubbles but turned out nicely </p> Next to be sorted is new banana arms, spray center caps, coilovers and spacers. Thanks for reading
  19. Like Will said, I wouldn't pay £170 second hand IMO. They're relisted on eBay at a 0.99p start price everytime one ends. They go for around £160-£200 brand new depending on how lucky you are. Either that or splash out on a cobra system if you have the cash I got mine for £165 I think and the y-pipe for £80. Fitment was very bad on mine, but sounds awesome. After a second mechanic having a go at getting the exhaust to sit straighter I'm happy with it, but it's still not perfect fit. That's just what you pay for I guess! Sent from Tapatalk
  20. Great stuff so far, looking forward to seeing more Sent from Tapatalk
