  1. Well, all credit where credit is due, I had a call from Charlie today who is the Sales Manager at Milltek after further action from the very persistent Sarah She really is brilliant!! Anyway, to cut a long story short, a replacement back box and mid section are being UPS'd from Milltek tomorrow direct to Abbey who will replace the offending item By the way, the droning has started to appear even quicker than before and a slight metallic rattle has now become evident when revving the engine at standstill. Further update to follow next week hopefully
  2. There's a guide for it I think
  3. Will might know, didn't he have the same problem?
  4. Only if they do as they say will Let's hope they don't hang about
  5. Thanks guys Sarah (Chilli Red) has been really helpful so far and today has given me some good news. She told Milltek it's not really down to me to identify the problem and they have agreed to send replacement parts (subject to them being in stock) to one of their appointed garages in Woking and they will replace the offending item Just waiting for the MIlltek email so I can make an appointment.
  6. Thanks Vicky, I'm sure it will, it's just bloody annoying we can't pin it down yet.
  7. My, Grandma, sorry, I meant Doogy, how you've aged!!! Cant find one Graham... but hope this helps
  8. Just a bit of an update, Sarah is on the case with Milltek They've asked for the batch number etc and we've sent that to them, unfortunately the noise has become a bit more erratic and it's difficult to pin down but this seems to tie in with problems other guys had a while ago with M3's. Apparently the box on the mid section has been known to fail but it seems when Milltek confirm the problem they replace the box straight away, hopefully this will be the case. I've got the local tyre and exhaust place on stand by and we're going to see if we can reproduce the noise and then get it straight up on the ramp, fingers crossed, we really could do with a fingers crossed smilie
  9. I discovered them on Sunday at the pub at our regular "second Sunday" old rugby farts get together, what a brilliant idea. I have to say they go extremely well with Adnams Broadside and green chilli crisps Yes, it all got a bit silly, but then it always does I slept all the way home (as usual) and it got a little "windy" later on
  10. I don't suppose North Weald will be good enough for you now?
  11. Could be TC but that doesn't explain the carbon on the bumper

  13. As far as I remember there is a Nissan colour match section somewhere, you need to trawl through that and find your colour, mine are black so it was a doddle.

  23. It may also have a lot to do with how easy it is to pass your test in some USA states, there are courses which involve only minimal driving time but more classroom time!! As far as I remember, unlike Britain, you can pass your test in an auto in USA and then drive a "stick shift" as they call it without further tuition Oh what fun, you can just imagine it:- "Dad I want a 3.5 litre rear wheel drive stick shift car" "OK son"
