  1. Try polishing that out of the paint rather than wax.

For the wheels I would try a good wheel cleaner i use dragons breath which I've found good.

The clicking noise does sound like axle mine done it the same in all gears up to fourth I think you just can't hear it after that from wind noise.

What's the mileage on the car?

  2. It's basically standard engine wise, it's running on slightly lower and stiffer springs and arb's not sure on the make yet as have yet to get underneath and have a proper look.

Yellow stuff pads on standard discs all round.

These seem to be fine as it use to race for up to 20 mins with no fade! It was running a slightly more free flowing exhaust but was too loud for most trackdays so has been replaced for the standard exhaust.

Two cobra bucket seats with harnesses and bolt in roll cage, most interior removed apart from the dashboard :)

  3. Have been given the opportunity to get out on some trackdays in my father in laws mk1 mr2.

Car was used a few years ago for mr2 race series and the Nippon challenge for 3 years running.

In mr2 class it was in top 5 finishing throughout most of the time it was raced.

Car hasn't been used for about two years now.

Today I dug her out the garage to start preparing for some trackday fun next year.

I know what is going to happen next, I will want to race it.

As it is this is classed as very cheap racing....

Anyway a couple of pics from today

  4. I agree the Porsche is very quick for what it is!! Been out in uncles one which was holding onto a 458 most the way round Silverstone. The guy even came over to have a look. Only thing the gt3 couldn't stick with was a 991 turbo s! Seriously quick car in the right hands.

  5. I wish it was me!! I just came across it on YouTube. If you read the description on the video it says how the guy in the Porsche is a pro driver and the guy in the gtr is just having fun!

    One day... :)

  6. I know what you mean I've found this before that it can drop out the power band going through the gears by about 500 rpm or so. As standard the 350 is a gt car so better for mile munching.

It would help changing the final drive ratio.
