I've got the non gt in a 2008 HR and have to agree the Bose system is hardly any better sound wise. It also doesn't seem to suffer with cd skipping etc that I have read about Bose

Good condition throughout, has a few door dings from people in car parks.

Roof has a some tree sap marks. Overall good condition Cloth is not torn or worn.

To be expected as the car is now 11 years old.

Rear seat wind deflector

Full bmw service history up to last service which was carried out by myself (engineer) at 60,000 miles all genuine bmw parts and oils used.

Car was subject to cat D in 2007. Light front end damage (lights and front bumper) all repaired by BMW. We brought the car off a very close family friend so the car has been known to us from 2008

Overall this is a lovely car to drive we have owned for the last 3 and a half years.

Only changing due to imminent arrival of Labrador puppy so need a hatchback. Other car is zed and she's not going!! So this has to go!

No part ex as we already have another car lined up.

Faults;

Drivers window is intermittent. I believe it is the regulator but have not got round to doing it yet as it has only just developed.

My friend has a 335i manual, they are the standard bmw nice to be in. Less road noise than the zed. His is completely bog standard. Pretty much completely matched on straight line performance as my HR. I personally prefer the more involving drive the zed has to offer.

Yes the windscreen is completely ruined really! From the days when it had been racing.

As above I'm after a good condition facelift plastic strip that attaches onto the front of the engine under tray, Protecting the bottom of the bumper. Mine has been ripped to shreds from coming on and off my drive.

Trackday yesterday at Bedford autodrome in the mr2.

Started off the day with badly unbalanced front wheels so had to pull in on sighting lap.

Luckily had a spare set of wheels.

The day was good other than that.

Went along with my brother in his track built 106 gti and a friend on the forum in his 350 hr.

Everyone was surprised at how well the little mr2 goes!!

Especially a guy in his bmw m6 who didn't look too impressed seeing me in his mirror for 3 laps until he finally gave in and let me pass!

Gave the little car hell all day not missing a beat. Not being passed by anything other than radicals and caterhams.

Had some fun with a few mx5's.

These engines will go forever if maintained properly. Some people have no mechanical sympathy and Rev them hard from stone cold. One of the biggest accelerations of wear!
