The fuel pump makes a buzzing noise for 3-4 seconds when you turn the ignition key to the 1st position.

Any idea of the differences between the toolboxes marked at £150 (132) and the one at £180 (145) on eBay. Just noticed top box is bigger on dearer one.

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate your comments regarding the Professional range. I'll have to availability as p&p for delivery is another £40. On a DIY basis do u find them worth the money or just something that is nice to have. I know I have lots of small toolboxes full of tools and a cabinet would hopefully get everything in the one place.Regards Richard.

As title says I'm thinking of buying a tool chest. Living across the pond in Northern Ireland restricts my range ( carriage costs ). With all this in mind I noticed Halfords have deals on most of their tool chests. The one I had in mind was the Industrial 6 drawer cabinet and 6 drawer chest for approx £270 ( using a 10% discount code ). Check with Chris at Tarmac but I think pre face lift ones are physically smaller.

There is a 2011 Nissan 370Z GT in blue for sale on the Autotrader website over here in Belfast. Only 13,600 miles. Looking £17,750 but I think it has been advertised for a while so maybe room for negotiation. Might be worth a cheap flight over via Easyjet or Flybe.

The picture was just one I grabbed off google to try to illustrate the spring clip part. I don't think it's the same ashtray as in our Zeds. Just bend it out slowly so that you don't break it where it's fixed on. Do it just a little at a time, trial fitting it each time to see if it's stopped moving so much is my advice. Thanks again for your advice.Bent metal clip out a bit more so the ashtray "clicks" when pushed into position. Seems fine now.

Thanks. Would I be right in saying that from your photo the spring clip should be straight? Mine has a 90 degree turn half way up it.

Rattling possibly the wrong word to use in this instance. Will try and think of an alternative title.

I was thinking of getting some foam and trying that. Problem then is letting the lid open. Would have thought someone else has had the same problem. Can only be the ashtray itself of the bit it sits in. Just wanted to get the correct part/s without guessing. The ashtray can be literally lifted straight out so something broken.

Hi everyone. I have a very rattly ashtray. It rattles when it is closed and when you try to open it, the ashtray wants to come out of the centre console. I want to get it fixed but am not sure what bit/s I need. From reading previous similar issues the main problem seems to be the ashtray itself. Upon inspection I can't see a lot wrong with my ashtray so I took a few photos to get other opinions. Any opinions would be appreciated. Below is a photo of the centre console. On close inspection there is a small plastic tab that is about to break at the top of hole but I can't see that this does a lot.
