  3. I know. This hasn't been an easy decision really as a lot of time and effort has been put into the journey so far. However I would like to thank Bennett for the help, advice and more importantly the patience as I can be difficult sometimes. The decision was made due to the fact I couldn't stop myself making further modifications even after the supercharger to get the car perfect. This would become a personal money pit in order to achieve the results I am after, which I know it would be unique. Selling my sc zed was worst mistake I made, Bennett was right I'd regret it 👎 I will definitely be sad to see the zed go as this a car that I have admired / lusted over since school days.

  5. I purchased glowshift boost and oil temp gauges from the states. I don't think that they was that expensive, something like £150.00. ah nice. may I ask what site you used, and how long they took to arrive? Did they come with all the appropriate sensors etc, or is that just for the gauges themselves? Ta! http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/ They came with the fitting kit and sensors etc. They took approx. 1wk to arrive.

  7. Sorry to hear this buddy. Hope you get it back
  8. Ok buddy. This is still available. I can hold for you if you like.
  9. I have a 52mm double gauge pod for sale. The reason I am selling is that I have decided to mount the gauges within the centre cubby hole. Price is £45.00 incl. delivery.
  10. I have a OEM steering wheel for sale without airbag. It is ideal for people who are looking at having their steering wheel retrimmed. I would like £80.00 for the wheel. I will post for free in the UK or you can collect if you are local.
  11. I haven't had a great deal of time to progress with the supercharger build, due to work and university (exams). Now that I have a little spare time, I will be progressing with the build, hopefully for completion in the summer time as I don't fancy doing anything to the car while the weather is like it is. I would like to say a BIG thank you to both Eve @ AQUAGRAPHIX and Jack @ ROYAL STEERING WHEELS for making this next little update happen. I am extremely happy with the results and I would recommend them to everybody who is looking at lifting the appearance of your zeds interior. There both exceptional at what they do, and no doubt I will be using their services in the near future.

  13. Has anybody fitted aftermarket seats into a roadster? The reason I ask is because the passenger seat is part of the roof opening function, and not sure if there is a way in which this can be linked out to "trick" the control unit into thinking the seat has already moved? Did a little search http://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadster/450320-pics-request-roadster-w-racing-seats-bride-sparco-recaro-etc.html
  14. The fuse shouldn't be sized higher than the rated current of the cable as this may cause an electrical fire, as you will end up heating the cable up before the fuse goes (if it goes). If you let me know what amps you are going to be running I will have a look into what fuse size you will require
  15. I am finding it difficult to progress with my digital dashboard as I am back at University now, so hopefully will find a little time over the Christmas break to progress. I contacted Nissan regarding their Consult II Protocol. They didn't understand what I was after at customer services. I asked for the engineering team etc. All I need is a schedule of, some sort with, all registers and descriptions. If I was designing a control system the client would ask for a list of all registers that are available in the control system. So would have thought it would've been a simply task for Nissan to provide this information. There is a more of a hit it with a hammer and understand method, which would be to use a Consult II applicable software and monitor the RS-232 port, and record what the software is requesting. Then it is just a trail and error to get the registers correct. I would like to see how you manage to install the gauges within the door vents, I assume you will be routing the wiring through the existing door loom.
  16. Interesting write up pal, looking forward to this progressing. Can't wait until the Wales meet with all these s/c zeds. Loud would be one word I would use to describe a run out with a charged zed
