  1. ^^^ That top picture just reminded me of something. Anyone seen or heard of Anki Drive? It's an iOS controlled ( iPhone or iPad) scalextric track where the settings for individual cars are held within the phone. Perfect for a man cave
  2. I'll ask her Sorry.......she said no
  3. You need a big screen with a 3D HD Projector, a surround setup, all with home automation lighting, curtains etc í ½í¸€
  4. I don't think any of us really help each others Zeditus, ...more like we feed of each others illness. If we where all heroine addicts we'd all be sharing the same needles by now & keeping watch for each other whilst we rob the local supermarket. @Steve ~ Carbon Fibre engine cover is also a good shout btw. Tarmac Sportz sell them, ...have a look in my build thread to see the one I just fitted a week or so ago. Yes, I like what you've done with the SC and the carbon fibre cover etc, but mines an HR
  5. Isn't that more commonly known as a coat? For the car Ian
  6. Wow. Cheers Gareth. That's an impressive list. She said 'Yes' to the lot Thinking about the cover, I guess you're right. Hadn't seen it like that. Already got ITG Panel filters. Already got bonnet struts. Engine bay coloured bolt set, afaik is only for DE engine, correct me if I'm wrong. However, still leaves a few items there. The zunsport grille or the reflectors sound good though. Thanks again. Off to browse some of the above now
  7. My mrs just asked what I want for Xmas this year. I said probably something for my car, but I don't know exactly what yet. Maybe a fitted cover for the colder days when I won't be using my zed. Any ideas anybody? What are you guys asking for? Is there somebody on here that does the fitted covers?
  8. Hi. Can you pm me some details please? Price, availability. For an HR in case that's any different
  9. Welcome I spent 6-8 months on here before I was in a position to buy my first zed. In that time I read up on as much as I could, including Wills link above, and then when I went to view the car, I was able to check over everything. I've had my zed a week now and am very pleased
  10. Tarmac, Redline Styling, and others. All traders on here.
  11. Ouch! I feel for you mate. I would be absolutely gutted too. Hope somehow you manage to get it sorted.
  12. I designed an auto opening boot strut system for MGZT and Rover 75, and sometimes these were a bit aggressive depending on the age of the original hinges, spoilers fitted etc. We used to have competitions at local meets to see who could launch a polystyrene cup the furthest at the press of the key fob button
  13. Thanks Vlad. I don't feel so alone now
  14. I guess I can get used to it. I dont have to force it or anything. I just have to assist with the lifting til its fully open. Still prefer that to the OEM stay.
  15. Cheers Mitz. Thankyou for the goodies
  16. So, after the weathermen got the weather wrong, we actually have had a sunny weekend, and I have managed to get a few jobs done. I gave the car a good wash first thing and then managed to fit my wheel spacers. Looks so much better and the handling is great too Stubby aerial was fitted during the week, and bonnet struts fitted yesterday.
  17. I have to lift mine all the way open, then it stays there ok
  18. Sounds like it's normal then. I agree it's better than the OEM stay, but just wanted to check. That's one thing I made sure of before I started fitting them. I watched a vid on YouTube of these fitted and when the bonnet is opened it only needed a small amount of lift before the struts take over. I think it may have been your car.
  19. Hi guys, I fitted my bonnet gas struts this morning, and I've found that I now have to pull the bonnet open, and push down quite hard to close it. Is this just because the struts are new? I've checked and double checked everything is fitted correctly.
