I'll see if I can get it to record properly for you later on my phone. I have the resonated Cobra and it definitely does drone between 2-2.5k under medium-high load but nothing unbearable. It's gorgeous sounding exhaust imo and only really drones if you are driving in too high a gear uphill.

I do it a lot, not really to get away from things but more because I love driving it! I quite often get up at 6 or 7 on a Sunday morning and go for a bit of blast round the countryside when it's dead, we're lucky to have so many great roads round here.

Hi guys, Long shot probably, but I have a Cobra resonated mid pipe and back box on stock Y-pipe. Has anyone with this set up been on track and passed the test alright? Looking at getting booked into Brands which is 101dB and 92dB drive by.

Yes. Exhaust and intakes and then UpRev. There is other mods you can do depending on which Z you have, such as the plenum spacer on the DE engine or the velocity stack.

Was a really good day at Dunsfold yesterday, couldn't believe the variety of cars and aircraft that were there. Didn't see any other zeds.

Another vote for Cobra here. I have a resonated system on stock Y-pipe at the moment and it sounds lovely. There is a noticeable cabin drone at 2-2.5k RPM but you can easily change gear to avoid that, it doesn't really bother me. I absolutely love the little pop it makes when you let of the accelerator in 1st and 2nd. I do feel sorry for the neighbours when I start it at 6am, it's bloody loud on a cold start up!!

Their detailing accessories are decently priced too at the Waxy Shop, I cleaned them out of microfibres a couple of weeks ago!!

I'm not 100% sure what you mean. Is the socket too wide/too thick walled to fit down where the spark plugs are? Or do mean you can't get the socket down far enough in to reach the plugs? Are you using an extension bar and a deep socket?

Very good. A definite upgrade over original, haven't had a chance to push them yet but general driving they are nice and sharp, even from cold. Braided HEL brake lines being fitted next month with some decent fluid so that should make them even better.

All fitted and pretty much bedded in. Followed the Stop Tech bed in procedure which works really well and quickly. Look nice too
