    GOODIES :)

If they didn't work, then I doubt AirCups would offer the BC Racing/AirCup combo on their own site, so it has to work, right? Do you need an airtank with this setup or does it plumb straight from the compressor to the lifters? True but my air cups allow a two inch lift. maybe i'll have to adjust the spring collars aswell about an inch to allow the damper shaft to extend the extra bit when under the action of the cup. It's hard to explain but imagine if the car weighed nothing and the coilover is on the car and sits normal. If i was to pressurise the cup i wouldnt get any lift because the damper shaft is already fully extended, so all that would happen would be that the spring will compress. So effectively i only have the amount that the car is going to compress the spring, which the car will lift by. Hope this makes sense :/ hard to put it into words!

Well i'll try to explain. If you see the coilovers up top, the way you lower the ride height is to physically make the strut smaller rather than slaken the spring off and let the shaft sink down into the damper body. This means that the damper shaft is shorter and has limited travel. So if i was to slacken the spring off by two inches to compensate (probably wont be two inches because of the spring compressing once on the car) then that limits the travel of the coilover shaft in the body and if i'm right will not be a very comfortable ride (could be wrong there). Not to mention it says not to do this as it can drastically shorten life of the coilover. I do plead to anyone to convince me otherwise if i've missed anything and if i'm beinbg a bit of a dumb dumb!

Not hydraulic, pneumatic should give me a little 2 inch lift when I need it on the front. However I'm not sure in going to be able to use them with theE coilovers

    GOODIES :)

Today came some goodies from my good friend Mitz at CS... Can't wait to get them fitted along with the superpro banana arm bushes that Mitz supplied!
  6. Oh right, so the bushes are a way to adjust castor rather than needing to adjust the castor once fitted? So i won't encounter any issues with fitting them all the way to the back as Jez said, bearing in mind i dont have adjustable front control arms.
  7. Ah okay, does it matter that i don't have castor adjustment Jez?
  8. Haha joker! I do think I will have to drop him a message, all mine say is this: No standard setting for the offset bushes! :/ Yeah I'm thinking of giving Jez that pleasure of setting my car up
  9. I have H&R lowering springs mate (30mm) however I have some BC's on order and will be going pretty low in a few weeks. That's the reason I got them because I was told that with mine on their way out, coilovers would kill them!
  10. Hi guys, just wondering how everyone else fitted their offset style banana arm bushes? I don't have any pulls and I don't have castor adjustment so don't want or need to set them up for left, right, or performance. Just wondering how everyone else did theirs? Thanks in advance! Dan
  11. So basically I want to get my hands on some jap style exhaust tips. However, I would like something a little bigger than the standard cobra sport ones. Preferably 5" or 4.5", slash cut with the burnt tip. But will consider anything aslong as they're bigger than 4" and are jap style. Failing that would anyone like to do a little swapsie, I have the inward rolled tips for the cobra sport exhaust (TP34 I think), for your jap style cobra sport tips. Must be in good condition! Thanks in advance! Dan
  12. Forget changing the colour of them, and concentrate on getting some lows!
  13. I'm not sure on the size think it may be the 5/8 version. Wasso, what ever is in the tub is what's being sold.
  14. basically as the title says! 3 for 2 on Auto Finesse products at: www.cleanyourcar.co.uk I'm not affiliated with them or anything, just wanted to share the love! Dan
  15. I can do £90 my man, can't go lower than that or I will have lost a fair amount!
  16. Okay so rough postage cost that I worked out (parcelforce because Royal Mail only do small packages) is £35-£40. So a rough estimate for price and postage is say at £140 to you in Portugal.
  17. If you can work out a postage fee from Royal mail, or arrange a courier yourself, i have no problem with sending it to Portugal.
  18. So here I have a skunk2 racing plenum spacer, I bought it the other day without thinking about my finances and well I could use the money more than the spacer at the moment! It's in great condition, just a little bit dirty. Comes with assortment of bolts and the important nylon spacers! I just want what I paid for it so £110 Ono posted or 100 Ono collected from Newbury, Berkshire.
  19. Get in touch with Mitz at CS, he should be able to help you!

    Lowering springs

In the next few weeks I'll have my H&R springs for sale. Been on the car since the end of July last year.
  21. I have 18x9.75 et20 with a 10mm spacer on the back with a 265/40 tyre and the bulge (not that there is much of a bulge) of the tyre is flush with my arch ðŸ‘
  22. I think I may have one in the shed you can have for £20? The pipe and flange are a bit rusty though... May have to cut the mid pipe off of it.
