  1. No i know mate, I did look at the KW myself but its ridiculous money!
  2. The bc coilovers allow for the cup because of the adjustable pre load mate. I'll keep this thread updated with any issues or not if that's the case
  3. My EML was coming on a lot, it was because I had a hole in my cat! Then I got berk high flow cats EML still comes on...
  4. Okay so I got it from stance-solutions, type that in Google and go to their website. They do various sizes but the one I have is 12.5mm shaft. It lifts 2 inches but my coilover may not allow it to lift that far, but we'll see. You can drive it inflated and leave it inflated. Doesn't come with warranty but he said he's never heard of any problems with any of them.
  5. Although I say that, but I will be fitting it myself. Touch wood, the only other expenses I need is alignment and a few more fittings
  6. Ummm let me see, I would say on an estimation probably £1500, and they're not even fitted yet!
  7. Okay so this weekend I set about making myself a couple of tonneau covers to act as an enclosure for my air tank (and the fact that I wanted one anyway!) I started by making a template with some cardboard, this was of both sides of the strut brace cover. After that, I used them and cut the shapes out from some 6mm ply with a jigsaw, then sanded down buts that needed it, and got them to the perfect size. Then set about covering them with acoustic carpet from eBay! Using some carpet adhesive again from eBay. After I covered the first one, the glue decided to pack up, so I jammed a screw into the nozzle and yanked out the little red bit which makes it spray in a mist. But then it decided to stop working at all. So a trip to screw fix and a can of evo stick carpet adhesive later, I managed to do the other one! Finished and fitted! Pretty happy with them, and I do believe they will do the job! Thanks for looking guys
  8. Oh and I got these too, I bet you can't guess who from...
  9. Put in another order with my favourite trader! And got myself these bad boys They are air cups, when I have my set up all complete they will allow me to raise the car at the front by 2 inches to hopefully solve clearance issues! Modules installed onto struts The whole set up, bar the tank because I haven't got a pic! Can't wait to fit all the goodies!
  10. So my extended wheel nuts started to becomes rusty because they are steel and just powder coated. So I tried to think of something to liven them up, re powder coating them was kind of out of the question because they would just become damaged and go rusty again. So I decided to try heat shrink and here's how it went. My little set up An example of the horrible rusty nuts During the process Finished product! I think they turned out okay, better than the rusty ones anyway!
  11. Then came a Nismo knob! But I didn't like it, it felt too small in my hand so had this made up at work Stainless steel, so it's almost effortless to change gear, apart from that dreaded second grrr! My clutch pedal has always been rubbish and feels like it had slack in it and sometimes sticks halfway up, so thought I'd change my clutch fluid. It was filthy... But didn't really change the feeling of the clutch pedal...
  12. So I have decided to make myself a build thread! I've had my car since 27th April 2013, and haven't bothered to make one but I thought what the hell, as some big changes are around the corner! So here she was when I first got her First big clean, she was SPOTLESS Then the big mods came! Cobra sport Y pipe back system from my good friend Mitz at CS, resonated ofcourse. Then some rear camber control arms and H&R lowering springs! Again from Mitz at CS Old ones :S And then how she sat! Time for new wheeeeeeeeels! XXR 527's 18 x 9.75 in flat black, sorted out again, by Mitz! Then wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sports from Camskill. Goodies Et voila! Then some centre cap stickers... Then put in another order at CS And these bad boys Old Y Pipe and cats Hole in one of the cats!
  13. If you use metal spacers to clear the strut brace, it could the bonnet, so any aftermarket strut brace is needed
  14. I want to hear peoples experiences with different lips! Like fitment and stuff!
  15. Okay so I've realised after a little research that this will not fit with standard strut brace, so perfect for this with a new one or possibly tarmacs new design!
  16. I would like pointing in the right direction for a mines or veilside style lip in FRP that is a nigh on perfect fit. I want to be able to fit it myself without taking it to a body shop. Just want some opinions and what you have come across! Regards Dan

    GOODIES :)

Ah right, sounds unfortunate! I'm getting the TS diffuser too so i'll let you know how i get on with being low and with the front 2 inch raise! The thing im most worried about for them is the Multi-storey car park ramps and similar driveways

    GOODIES :)

Kyle what do you scrape on only being lowered 30mm?
  19. Sell me your bumper first mate Back on topic, I personally would probably avoid buying an 11 year old car with 20k miles on the clock. That's less than 2k miles a year, it's possibly never been on a long journey in its life! Less chance of it being warmed up properly too!

    GOODIES :)

    GOODIES :)

Well i think the dude is currently developing some back modules, but i suppose if theyre similar to the fronts (McPhearson strut setup) then i dont see why they wouldnt work!

    GOODIES :)

I got mine for £400 posted, then £174 posted for a Viair 380c and £35 for a tank. Add the rest of the fittings like pressure switch, reducing bushes, Safety valve, Drain **** etc... I reckon £650 all in? I know i'm not going to pull my shock apart or anything like that! My only worry is I won't get a big enough lift to be beneficial. I've bought it all now so i'll see what happens once i've fitted it all!
  24. iLott

    GOODIES :)

We'll see, once I've fitted them I'll post up a some more pics and maybe a video
