  1. Hi Alex, would it be okay to use the castrol stuff though? I'm pretty desperate to do it today as its very low and my local nissan dealer have none in stock Dan
  2. So basically just wondering if anyone has used or if it's okay to use Castrol Transmax, as power steering fluid? Any help greatly appreciated Dan
  3. Any sort of GM front bumper, needs to be already painted and I'll consider anything. Ideally would love V2 replica or INGS replica but I realise the likelihood of someone having one of them for sale is remote. Thanks Dan
  4. So I got my new springs and camber arms from CS, fitted them Friday and why a nightmare it was, rears were done in a matter off minutes and were a pleasure. Fronts however were a different story... Every bolt was ceased and after 10 pints of orange squash, half a can of WD40, a bucket worth of sweat, and destroying every muscle in my body. 5 hours later they were finally finished! New springs! Old camber arms, one with a strange bend in it :/ My hands after some serious washing... And the car.. The front has a slightly larger gap than the back and I'm not sure if this is because of the smaller tyre profile or because they need to settle? Or even because that's just how they sit? Hopefully one of the previous! Just need to wait a couple of weeks for them to settle and I'll get it aligned and can hopefully get the new wheels
  5. 275 at the front is possibly too much. I'm aware of the concept of stretching the tyres on the rims, but I always thought that you fitted a narrower tyre in order to squeeze it under the arches, surely a 275 tyre on a 9.75 inch rim is going to be bulging outwards, ie stretched in the wrong direction? Pete Hey man, I have a picture with the exact set up on a 350: That's 18x9.75 all round with 275/35 tyres on! Very very slightly stretched Dan
  6. Right okay! So potentially I could have problems, even though I did traction control on the 350 is too safe at times...
  7. Why would that be mate? As long as the tyres are staggered you will be fine! I wasn't going to stagger them! Why is this a problem? Its not Plenty of people run a square setup without issues Good to hear, but why is it that people do have problems? Like what's the technical issue behind this?
  8. Why would that be mate? As long as the tyres are staggered you will be fine! I wasn't going to stagger them! Why is this a problem?
  9. Oh yeah, I'll be going 275/35 all round so very slightly stretched
  10. Awesome! May keep my spacers then
  11. Just wondering, I shall be purchasing some new wheels soon at 18x9.75 et20. Now will I get away with not rolling the arches or will I have to? I have/ am waiting for H&R springs at a 30 mm drop too. Any help appreciated Thanks Dan

    Standard exhaust

Anyone want this? I you come get it tomorrow or early next week, you can take it for beer tokens! Back box could be easily saved with a new flange! Dan
  13. May have mine up for sale soon! If all goes well with getting new wheels. Within the next few weeks, I have 20mm and 25mm.
  14. Sam what spoiler is that?? :O
  15. Just wondering how do people stick there number plates on to their bumpers after removing the plinthe? Because obviously it's curved. Also has anyone got any pictures? Thanks Dan
  16. Any pics of the car with this actual splitter on?

    Ray,s wheels

I should be getting new wheels next month, so mine will be up for sale soon. They're all straight and have Bridgestone rubber on them. They all have corroded though and all have bubbles under the paint. Dan
  18. Long shot I know, but I don't suppose you have the offside indicator cluster?? Dan
  19. Thanks man! It's my first proper paint job and it seems I'm a natural haha trouble is there is quite a lot of silver in the car that would have to be changed! And the armrest comes out sooo easily! Think ill take a trip down to halfords and see if I can find some of that Porsche flat silver. Doubt it though! And as for it chipping and wearing, obviously it will get some wear with it being pulled closed etc. but I don't wear rings or anything so hopefully it will last a lot longer than the original soft cheese arm rests! Thanks for all the positive comments guys! Dan
  20. Yeah it certainly is blade silver, looked the nearest match by eye when buying the paint! So disappointed its a rubbish match
  21. Okay so my drivers one was scratched up like most of you other guys, so I decided to paint it! Tried to find a good match for the other interior silvers like the door handles and other bits of trim. Primer Paint Lacquer Now all has gone well by this point and I'm happy with the finish! So I put it on the car to find its a terrible colour match... So I was just wondering has anyone got a good colour match for all the other silver bits in the car? Any help appreciated! Dan

    Standard exhaust

Front side where the captive bolts are Like I've said the flange is in a state, but the exhaust is okay otherwise, was thinking someone could weld a couple of new flanges on?? The tailpipes are quite dirty/ black aswell but I do believe they will come up nice with some autosol/ scotch brite! Price I'm not really sure at so we'll say £60 but offers are welcome Thanks Dan
  23. There most definitely would be a lot of buyers! They're the best looking ones around! what other replica spats are around?
  24. So I have a standard 350z mid section and back box for sale. It's most definitely seen better days but thought it could be of use to someone if they were handy with a welder or knows someone who is! The most problem bit is the flanges between the mid section and back box, it's shown in the pics below. Pics: Left tailpipe Right tailpipe And the dreaded flange! Rear side where the nuts are
