  1. And still the pump is ~2cm longer than Stock. Also had to cut a small nugde to make Way for the fuellab pumps power connector, which is a bit difrent from others i have used.
  2. The fuellab pump is physcally bigger than Stock, so had to grind the "pegs" on the intake side down to make it fit within the Stock assembly. also drilled the return hole of the fpr to 3mm and the venturi jet to 2,5 mm to lower the pressure at idle, as i read it otherwise Would be the jet hole size and not the fpr setting the pressure.
  3. Just Got my new fuellab 340lph in tank pump, and the last two pieces of wireing for the o2 sensors. now i need to hardwire the fuel pump and modify the bits and bobs in the hanger to go with the new pump.
  4. As much as i hate pulling off a new Oil filter and 7 liters of new 0miles Oil, i hate having things done other than the Way i want them. so off with the Defi Oil temp sensor, and in with the aem sensor. Defi sensor is relocated to sump. and also forgot that the Stock Oil press sensor is 1/8 bsp and NOT npt.... so messed up my new aem Oil press sensor aswell.... so new sensor ordered aswell as bsp to npt bushing. and also ordered aem wideband probe cables in the right lenght so i wont have a bundle of cable when i'm done....
  5. Jus Got word from aem. The Stock vq35de Oil press switch is a on/off unit only used for the dash it seems, so thats gonna go and the aem Oil press sensor will go there instead...
  6. It does, and in my case, through the Oil cooler and filter and to the engine. i have no idea how much the temp is lowered by the cooler, but when it comes back it is the temp it Would be when going to the bearings i guess. I have no problem with taking the Oil temp in the sump, and i guess i Can make a comparrison between Oil temps in the sump and after the Oil cooler when i get the sensor fitted. I'm Guessing that it's not that Big a difference.
  7. I'm sticking with my Defi gauges. Just becourse they look trick. and actually loosing my afr gauge. I'm getting the Security functions mapped in the aem, so there is no need for me to try and keep an eye out for that, when the aem will adjust or shut down if Numbers are off. I Would assume the oilpan Would be ok for Oil temp? But most people Seem to use the Oil cooler sandwich plate. i guess i will be about the same.
  8. Will do. thinking of loosing the Stock Oil pressure switch and taking Oil pressure from there. And relocating the Defi gauge Oil temp to the sump, and taking the Oil temp from the Oil cooler sandwich plate to the aem. only "problem" i Can Think of is that the aem dosen't have a Oil pressure input. So I'll have to see where i Can connect it.
  9. It's a piece of ptfe tape, it was pulled of before putting it back together.
  10. And back together, now with fuel press sensor, map sensor, air temp and the bigger vacum ports. now i need to do the Oil press and temp sensors, aswell as the wideband o2 sensors for the infinity...
  11. Just pulled the top of the plenum as i wanted to fit a bigger port for the map sensor aswell as for the bov vacum. and also fitted the air temp sensor in the intake pipe of the plenum. and last i blocked the water Lines running to and from the throttle body, as i'm never gonna run the car in the winter, and i have a fealing it's gonna get hot enough without having the warm coolant running through.
  12. Thanks. Taking alot of pride in doing it myself. and having build quite a few cars over the years, I always try to step up my game.
  13. And all the wireing is done... now i need to run everything where it needs to go, and then mate it with the aux harness on the infinity. I'll have a read up on the oem sensors. I Think i Can loose a few of them with the aem sensors installed
  14. Just started putting on the harness and making the wireing that needs to go between the aux conector and the sensors. also making up a few parts, fuel press t-piece etc. all wireing is beeing done with crimped ends and run in protective "socks" and with automotive connectors
  15. Almost Got the inner arches and front bumper wrapped back on.... ALL that pipework, intercooler, air filter etc. That goes underneth and need to fit 100% to have the arches and bumper put back on is mind twisting.... But getting there.. I want to be done in time to start putting ecu, harness, sensors etc. on, as soon as it shows up, hopefully friday.
  16. I went with a full AEM infinity setup. and Thanks. not much going on at the moment. Waiting for parts and trying to wrap the front bumper around all the pipework that's gone on...
  17. And done with the Utec.... just ordered a stand alone ecu with all sensors etc.
  18. I actually have no idea where i tried uploading it, but I'll bet you I tried uploading it as i did the map file. I Think I'll have to give it another go tomorrow.
  19. I just had another look, i Can see that the injector scaling is missing.... must have been in the documentation then i have the parameter map for the tt basemap aswell. But when i try to upload, it says it corrupt. When i view it in notepad it looks like fuel or boost map, is that wrong? I though it was suppose to be parameters for the parameter block beneeth the 5 map sections
  20. I Think theese parameters are from the Sc map. i only loaded the timing, fuel and boost map. No parameters. Will change all tomorrow. and thats funny. I'm still sure i Saw it in there somewhere
  21. So dicking around in the ecu. Uploaded the ApS TT basemap and will try to run that to start on. But not sure where i Saw the Injector size scaling in the constants. Anyone knows if this version is the "new" or old?
  22. That Would be even worse... i'll have an eye on the AFR and give it a go tomorrow.... i'm not driving it, it's still on Jack stands.... i have a drip, and i can't find the leak... Well the car does..
  23. Thanks for the input. i have had the laptop on this Utec and i Can see Injectors size and Stock Injectors size under constants. As i got the damn thing laying around Anyways, I will have a go at it, Otherwise i will move on.
