  1. Drove the car home from the tuner Yesterday.... and dame... i'we had some angry cars before, but dooing a full launch and pinning the pedal for a few gears has never been so awesome. I do need to fit another muffler/x-pipe as the exhaust droones so much! otherwise it's amazing. Simply amazing
  2. And 0,7 bar, amounts to 460ps and 603nm on 95ron with a safe and solid tune. thats probally pushing it a little... but i'm gonna worry about that if it starts bending rods
  3. Well. im probally going to regreet this, but @ 0,5 bar it did 430 PS... and were doing a 0,7 bar run for a *zero f***s given* map now (Well for Stock internals with 2x3076 that is)
  4. Well this is about the Best Way to start the weekend. just Got this from my tuner. The car makes over 400 PS and 500 NM on the dynopack @0,4 bar at only 5000ish revs. It's gonna be more when he does a full pull...
  5. Small Update. just talked to my tuner, and the car is up and running with the aem infinity. So now he just needs a couple of days to tune.
  6. Will do. just talked to my tuner, and he hadn't fired it up yet. He hopes to get it done this week...
  7. The old lady just left for tuning.... i am seriously shitting myself to see if it goes boom or wroom
  8. And a quick back to front walk at idle with Stock ecu, just to check everything before sending it out to tuning https://youtu.be/Go2COa-0szI
  9. Ok, my take on the fuellab 340lph fuel pump is..... zipties! and a crisp lukewarm **** you to fuellab for calling this pump a model specific pump. there is no Way, shape or form this pump is a model specific pump for a 350z it simply wont fit the Stock carrier... you Can use it, sure, but it still needs a havksaw and zipties to work, and then i guess all pumps Can be model specific. I will do a separate hanger and pump assembly at some point, to acomidate the fuel return system. But for now, this will have to do. That beeing Said, i like the pump, the capasity and i hope that it will do the job. and with that, the build is ready for tuning. so going out for 60L. 95ron now, and then the car is set for dynoing this wednesday.
  10. After over a year of beeing on jackstands, Dusty and disasembled... it's sometime hard to remember why you do what you do... But when it's all back together (apart from the Carbon body parts) and you wash it again, it's pretty clear why.
  11. Thanks. wanted to keep the stockish look and not have all the Bells and whistles f&f style, i Think i managed.... sort of. and not having any v-power is due to Shell pulling out of Denmark. there are 5-10 places left in the whole of Denmark which sell 99ron, but wanting to be able to refuel everywhere without having to worry about the car not running right, i just opted for 95 Ron. And a more subtle tune for the 0,4-0,6 bar maps. the car will still make all the power the Stock motor Can take, so no need to run 99ron before i get the new motor put together and in the car.
  12. Ground wire hocked up to a threaded hole just behind the strut brace. Relay and fused suply hocked up. and done! all there is left on "the list" now, is redooing the fuel hanger.....
  13. Connector done, and power for pump and relay runs in the cableholders down the side. trying to find the Best place for the Ground lead, needs to be short and in a chassis bolt hole for the Best connection...
  14. Getting started on the wireing for the new pump. i drew two wires from the engine Bay. One 4mm2 for power from the relay switch, and one 0.75mm2 for the relay coil. will be using the "old" power suply from the pump as the power for the relay coil. and also Grounding the pump with a 4mm2 cable. having drawn the wires, and cut them to lenght, i put a "sleeve" over the wires and put it through the original wireing brackets under the carpet down the side. taking the fuel pump connector apart and both crimping and soldering the new power and Ground wire to get the Best connection.
  15. Just spend the last hour draining the tank of 95 octane, prior to dynoing, to put 99 v-power in.... only to learn that i can't get 99v-power anywhere anymore.... sooo putting some fresh 95 back in, and trying to get the last few things on the list crossed of before it goes out for tuning.! but the car is on the Ground, and i can't wait to get it back on the Road.!
  16. Haven't had the time to do more wireing today, but finished up on the overflow tank. all done, fitted and checked off the list. just a handfull of jobs left before it goes out for mapping
  17. I had everything laying around. the relay is from an "old" s13. It fits almost all Nissan relay boxes. but you Can buy complete "hardwire" kits with cable, fuses and relays. and i'm having issues working out how to Secure the pump in the hanger.... without zipties... so not there yet, but close. if you need the fuel from a 340 pump. I Would suggest buying a model specific fitting kit and another one than the fuellab... the fuellab will Deliver alot more fuel than other pumps, but is a pita to fit. so far, that is, if/when i solve it, I'll post my take on it. And also it needs bigger than Stock wireing. It draws almost 15 amps (witch i belive is Stock max) at just around base fuel pressure. So pretty High output and power usage. i originally planned on doing a whole new hanger with fuel return etc. But that will have to wait now, as i just want to get the car on the Road...
  18. Just started on the "hardline" wireing for the fuel pump. The power will be drawn through a 4mm2 cable with a 30 AMP fuse to the battery. Run through a Nissan relay that will be placed in the vacant spot in the relay box for the lamp washer. also started fitting some 2" aluminium pipe and my Screw cap for the new radiator overflow tank.
  19. If it's worth dooing.... it's worth overdooing I might add...
  20. Had some spare time today to make my maf plug. I'll be running map sensor so i wont need the maf sensor in the boost pipe. i want the process to be reversible, Otherwise i Would just had welded it shut. the plug will sit with the bolts intended for the maf, or I'll make some countersunk bolts and use a little silicone gasket to make sure it wont leak made it so that it has the same dimensions as the afm. This Way it will seal on the rubber gasket in the hole.
  21. Bumper and lights going on. Have to trim quite a bit under the Stock bumper for all the new stuff. And all done with wireing for the aem.... happy days.... The list is getting shorter!!!!
  22. Thanks. sure, i "cut" and removed the small studs on the intake side of the pump to make it sit inside the Stock fuel pump carrier... but beeing so long it still wont fit. i know there other pumps that will physically fit in the Stock carrier, but wanted to try the fuellab, i kinda dug myself in the hole.... i havent sorted out the fastning of the pump yet. Right now, it's Ziptied pretty good. By that was mostly to see if i could get pressure, and if i could get my base fuel press low enough with the mods to my fpr, and swievel jet. I'll get back to it when i'm done wireing the aem. i will be doing the hardwire mod pretty soon, will make sure to add pictures and descriptions.
  23. Getting some more gray hair today.... having to go into the aem harness to hook up the Oil press. As it's apparently not commenly used for this setup.... and also getting started on the last connector. Really looking forward to getting this behind me.
  24. Just started doing up the last wireing for the new harness. Pulling wires to and from the ecu... Then the ecu install is done. then Next, the "hardwire" for the new fuel pump. It draws quite alot more than Stock, so wireing, fuse, relay etc. Must be upgraded.
  25. Parts pouring in right now. just Got my new Black Depo lights, Black led rear bumper lights, Carbon, led front running lights, and nismo gaspedal...
