  1. Should be a more relaxing experience though hopefully as at least you know the company and possibly even the interviewer's already. Good luck with it. My advice would be walk in there prepared, answer every answer with examples of what you've done at the company, Don't treat the interview differently because it's internal, I did that the first time and was totally unprepared. Don't go in there thinking they will take all of what you have done for the company into consideration ( They might but my place don't, it's all down to the interview, which sucks!) Big your self up! Don't be afraid to say things like 'I did this, and I put in the effort etc' this was some advice I was given. Hope it helps and the best of luck to you mate!! P.s. may want to ignore my advice until I hear about the job lol.
  2. How old are you if you don't mind me asking? <<< 22 and it costs me £900PA
  3. Cheers everyone, Went in at 10.30, had a 20min Exam (To test technical skills) then Left at 12.00. I feel it went really well, answered all the questions and basically said everything I could and wanted too. Had the same interview 3 months ago, but I walked in unprepared. So I took there advice from last time and applied it to this interview. Last time I walked out feeling crap and thinking, damn why didn't I say that etc. This time I feel happy and done the best I can. So now down to other interviewees. Will find out in a week -.- someone had to re-schedule till next Thursday for their interview. Cheers again guys
  4. Wow wasn't expecting that many replies! Thank you to all of you! 30mins to go, Thanks to all the advice as well!
  5. Hehe, Love my job though, 1st one where I'm happy to arrive early or leave late, never clock watching!
  6. It's the Important way of saying....IT Geek Cheers fella's! Messed up my last one I had a few months ago, but been lucky enough with another vacancy opened up, so going in prepared this time!
  7. Bit of a random thread, Got my big interview tomorrow! Make or break in my Company. Permanent position, as a Network Analyst! Excited and nervous at the same time, lets just say this company pays well for this job compared to most places. Now the best bit is, if I am lucky enough, then my baby Zed will get all the treats she wants! First on the list Nismo Exhaust System! So fingers crossed, if not for me, for the Zed
  8. Let me know how it goes bud, I'll probably do the same to mine. Also as its a known common issue..is this going to cause long term damage etc?
  9. Was going to make a post similar to this, mine does the same bud, seems to mainly effect 6th gear at about 60mph+ below that it's fine.
  10. Cheers guys big help on here! I'll take a look on Saturday and see what happens. Thanks for the information guys

    My 1st Zed!

Haven't decided yet, with this car I want to do everything properly, and pay the money for it to be done right. So with the body work, need to have a look and see what I like Probably going to get a Nismo exhaust system as my 1st major buy.

    My 1st Zed!

Nothing huge but this is my 1st plan the weekend, along with number plate holder removal.
  13. Are they easy to get to? Because in the golf they were a pain the butt!
  14. Ignore this, sorry found a few threads on the forum after further searching, will read through them 1st.
  15. Hi guys, Had the zed for about 5 days now, everything is fine and I'm loving it! However got in the car this morning and the Air Bag Light randomly started blinking at me. Nothing changed, not touched under the seats etc, done the same I've been doing for the past 5 days of owning it. Did a quick google search and was given tricks on how to reset and clear the light:- -Turn ignition on -Wait 7 seconds for the light to turn off -Turn car off within 1 seconds of the light switching off -Repeat the above 3 times. Now the first time I did that it slowed the blinking down, before it was On Off on a 1 second ratio, it was now 2-3 second ratio. Then when I stopped my journey and did the same again, this time it stayed off for a few minutes then came back on and this time was back to the original 1 Second Ratio. Hope that makes sense, did a quick forum search of 'Air Bag Light' but couldn't find anything so apologies if there is a thread on this already. Cheers Matt
  16. Jealous!! I was after an azure! I may be wrong but thats a bargain! All the ones I was looking at would at least be 7k+. If I didn't buy mine on saturday, I'd be going to see that! Why wouldn't you clean the thing before taking photos! Seems cheap though I was thinking that! So it's not just my eyes, those wheels aren't Gunmetal?
  17. You can do damage to the gearbox linkage doing it as simply as that. You must use grips to hold the shaft in place. Wrap gear stick in towel Grup with pliers or mole grips Unscrew the gear knob whilst using some pressure on the mole rips to counter act any torque you are putting onto the shaft. Reverse the procedure when putting on new one and tightening it. Awesome that's what I was after, I'll do this job on the weekend then, along with removing the Number plate holder
