All I'd say is, stop trying at this stage. Had an issue with a friends car, kept trying to start it etc, ended up seizing the engine and causing a lot more unnecessary damage.

Cheers pal, checked the logs, has a FSNH, but lacks Bodywork checks, after reading the forum people seem to have been successful without this check At the end of the day, rust is rust and the warranty states 12 years etc. If needs be, will just mention to them about the law and court

Never mind, did some digging and found similar threads, time to try my luck with the dealerships. If anyone's had this and got it approved in the Portsmouth area, let me know:)

Was going through the manual and in the warranty section, States: Perforation from corrosion Warranty. Covers inside to outside perforation. 6-12 Years Unlimited miles. Now would the above be applicable for rust bubbles appearing? Would I be covered under this warranty to be looked at? or have I just asked a daft question. Cheers Matt

Was meant to post this sooner, this cars last MOT only had one Advisory - 001 Advise Drivers Rear chassis leg damaged but does not affect strength. How much of a problem is this? Does it need fixing? How big of a job/cost is this? Cheers Matt

Mine is only crunching in 5th, which is fine because I never use 5th 4th to 6, if you need 5th you are driving too fast shame mine does it on 6th :/ Say about 4k Revs in 4th straight to 6th and you can hear it crunching it Slower speeds under 60mph and it slots in perfectly fine.

I'll keep an eye out friday, I'm across the duel carriage way at Peta (Next to playzone) on a training course. Not happy, car park is full today, had to park on the side of the road (Not the Duel Carriage)

Never had any issues with this car for the 3 years I had owned it, started first time every time. Only untill a couple of weeks ago, I thought a Sensor was playing up as it was telling me to check Coolant, but it was full and fine. Then on it's final journey smoke started pouring out from exhaust, popped the bonnet and it was coming directly from the turbo. If i'm lucky it's just a seal, but it could be worse, however I don't have the money to keep putting into this car now. There are several marks on the car, couple of scuffs and the odd dent and key mark, very frustrating, again just didn't have the money anymore to keep it maintained. It's a shame, because when the car is polish and cleaned up, looks gorgeous. Anyway, Turbo and Waterpump need looking at and the bodywork could do with a couple of ££hundred spent on it to get it up together. I could probably get more for breaking the car down, but that's time that I don't have, so I'm currently open to offers as i'd like this gone ASAP. Looking for £1200 for everything but will be open to offers! Based in Fareham/Portsmouth.
