I saw a guy the other week whilst I was walking the dog washing his 2012 car (VW I think ) in the midday sun, ....then I spotted the sponge he was using on the bodywork that he'd just left on his driveway. Why don't you get wheels with the right size so you don't need spacers? Also, you will need the Offset of the wheel. As you may go and get a 8.5J Wheel but if the offset is different to the Rays, it's going to sit different all together.

So, we finally managed to get the wheels on with a lot of brute force from Bob!! Can't thank this man enough for helping me get these on! We basically rolled and flared the arches, we managed to get just over an inch extra on each side. Here's how it went... 20mm Spacer wasn't enough for the Rolling tool to clear the brembo.... Flare! Turns out with 20mm spaces on (I always though we could get away with 15/16mm, but turns out the old wheel hub threads were sticking to far out of the spacer, so the wheel wasn't sitting flush with the spacer, it was essentially a 24mm spacer. So we burnt those off! Brembo distance -
