I’m still in stitches that anyone thought this was a scientific experiment. Cars are emotional topics for most of us, especially Z owners. But anyway I’m glad so many of us enjoyed the content.

Time to go calibrate my butt Dyno and go for a drive. Remember to stretch your ponies out this weekend!

Look man, we don’t need you and your science. Well, we don’t need it for aliens, medicine, religion or flat earth. We sometimes need it for fuel, choosing our brand of oil, generally for the internal combustion engine to function, oh, and the internet, but not if you use any of those things for more science. We’ve had enough of experts, Brexit MEANS Brexit. I hope I’ve made myself clear on this

I always ask the same question with this question - how does the car know what fuel is in it?

I didnt watch the whole 20 minutes but the dude mentions at the beginning he adjusted the timing to be "aggressive", so not how the car usually runs. As with anything with a knock sensor the car will start pulling timing when it detects knock, but the key fact is that it unless engine management has fuelflex then it wont advance timing when the fuel is "better"

For me this test is showing which fuel gives closest replication of whatever the car was originally mapped on, it would be more illuminating to remap the car for each fuel but youre bringing a whole load more variables into it then.
If youre running FI, higher boost and fuel flex (or are mapped for a specific fuel) then Ive no doubt there are gains to be made but for most the difference is going to be minimal.

You’ve not considered though that this is on YouTube, so is 153% more correct versus all other methods of sharing information that the sheeple consume via lamestream media.

    So, yeah.

Unfortunately the transactions were sent on bloody cash app. I have contacted my bank, reported the card and the scam. Now I have to wait to see if they help refund my money.

thank you everyone it’s nice having support when this happens. I should have known better but unfortunately all I could see was having the 350z bumper that they scammed me with. I’m usually really good with avoiding scams but this one idk.

Don’t beat yourself up, we’ve all made mistakes getting parts when we’re excited.

It’s thieving bellends that are the problem, not you.

Hope you get some luck with your bank.

Hi I was approached by a user called Jukiol908 who said someone was selling an 08 350z bumper.  I was a bit sus but I messaged this email and long story short they said they would send it, requested the money which I stupidly sent, thinking I would get a bumper. His responses were really quick… and I thought it was a bit weird but today…. After sending the last payment this person has not responded. Just said I’m on it.

incase anyone else comes across this person beware i am sure this is a scammer. And so is the user mentioned above. Brokermills@gmail.com

I’m very sorry to read this @Lauren_Davinaz I did get one PM reported for Jukiol908 by a member, that matches the pattern you and others have posted in this thread. I banned the account on the 31st. Just now I had a look at the profile and message mailbox, but there’s nothing in there you don’t already know, that would be of help.

Did you use PayPal to pay the scammer and have protection from them?

  5. Gorgeous Z this, shame it was all the way down in Kent mind  - long trip down, but well worth it.

It's really tidy and I must admit I got a bit misty eyed for my old Z when I was following you back up North. Wish I had had the budget for a white HR when I was looking back then, absolutely stunning. Naughty exhaust and some spacers and a wheel refurb from bloody black and you're all set! Don' worry about a few little mods, it's not at all addictive :ninja:

Can't wait to get this out for a proper photo shoot somewhere when the sun pops out and get the proper camera out.

  6. Seems like they are all landing, which is great.

A huge thank you for everyone who has submitted photos. The last 3 years it's been touch and go whether we even get 12 months together, it literally cannot happen without your images - so I am very grateful for everyone who sends them in.

  7. Thanks to everyone who has sent in photos so far, particularly in the last week or so. I've got one month left to fill and I am desperately hoping someone will send something, in the next day or two. If not, there won't be time to get the order in and get it shipped to me and then get it shipped to you, before the "first" month in Feb.

If you're sitting on a few shots and not sure, please please please jump in now.

  8. This is defo a thing in Sheffield, there’s 5 shells within a few miles of me and the last few times I’ve been to fill up I’ve had to visit 2 or 3 to get V Power. Super annoying and the best response I’ve had yet is that, “it runs out around the weekend before the next delivery”.
