  1. So I bought the aluminium kick plates a while back and restored them. I have been contemplating dipping the plastic section but can foresee that they will suffer at the very nature of their purpose! Question for those that have dipped them; how durable are they and was it worth doing? I worry that I will scuff them non stop as the car is low and snug in the garage. Thanks
  2. Price reduction; £50 delivered, or £45 collected

Just connect the fan controls in order to mediate temperature. There rest you don't need.
  5. Thank you for your comment Stylz. I initially did wonder if it was a tad over priced although after having a look on eBay and considering the cost of the prime and my time I think it's priced accurately. Don't get me wrong this isn't a business, but I think that it is worth that extra £10-15. Time will tell
  6. £80 delivered or £75 collected.....
  7. Here for sale I have a spare DE engine cover all prepped, primed and ready for base, chosen colour and clear coat. The red emblem is in good condition; I imagine paint stripper would remove the colour although I cannot confirm the condition beneath as it would have been keyed ready for prime etc. Final sand was with 1200 wet and dry; £55 delivered or collection from Bath for £50 Thanks

+1. Have been driving my car for the best part of a year stripped as I am waiting for a retrim! Probably the longest waiting list known to man! Save your money
  9. There is one for sale second hand but unused OEM in the for sale section. Just buy the other from Clark Motorsport. This was my intention, although I believe that I have now solved the knocking noise (Crapspeed endlinks)
  10. 465bhp!! You clearly need the Akebonos more than I do, uprated discs and pads too I'd imagine!! What on earth is lurking beneathe the bonnet? Would love to be a passenger.
  11. Thanks Bodyoarder. The Akebono's are great; they have had a god run in now and work treat. It used to be much lower with more stretch; prefer the setup now as it drives so much nicer. Eibach ARB's and Whiteline links have helped too; they also appear to have solved the knocking noise previously experienced. Which isn't surprising considering the state of the Crapspeed links that came off!
  12. Cheers Pete; shame about the underside of the car
  13. Underside of Zed, at the rear. Brace yourselves; It's going to be a long winter....
  14. Took delivery of an ARB kit and adjustable links, amongst other things, courtesy of Clark Motorsport. Great service; Managed to install it all yesterday. The rear proved to be a bit of of PITA with crawling under the car to remove the centre section and corroded fittings etc! Got there in the end. Also noticed that the rear of the car in places is in bad shape. Any suggestions on the best way of treating surface rust? Strip parts and rub back, seal etc? But with what? I will get some pics later after clamping the exhaust etc.
  15. Another big thanks to Ewen at the team at Clark Motorsport for supplying suspension and clutch goodies. Impeccable service and at a great price
  16. Sorry can't accept £60 as I paid much more than that only a few weeks ago.
  17. I'm pretty sure they came off of a JDM non-GT spec, hopefully someone else on here can also confirm that? Melksham in Wiltshire? About 20 mins outside of Bath. Those are JDM calipers; fairly certain that they came off of my Zed.....Station Garage?
  18. As a above; quite a few of us have it done. Simple mod, makes a huge difference
  19. Parts now SOLD; cat still available Mods please lock. Thanks
  20. Hi Peeps, Here for sale I have a pair of battery/fluid surrounds that are finished in anodized red. They are in good overall condition, reason for sale is that I have had some sprayed professionally (I was after perfection). There are a few marks, notably either side where the bonnet dampers foul and also where the covers clip in. I would suggest a very light flatten back with the reappliance of a thin colour and clear coat to satisfy any OCD's (and yes I do suffer from it - don't we all). £45 delivered or £40 collected from Bath. And I will even throw a cat in; Thanks for looking.
  21. Mammoth job! Well worth it as it make a huge difference
  22. Looks awesome! Mark, do you paint the horizontal black plastic in-situ? (The area vast are immediately beneath and behind the slam panel). Would love to get it done but not sure if I trust the competence of some local bodyshops; could go terribly wrong
  23. She's lovely; you cant sell it! A lot of time and money has gone into this! Will be a great purchase for somebody. So is the intention to keep the wheels for a future project, or are you willing to split in addition to selling with the car?
