  1. Completely agree mate, recommend the mod to anyone! Another angle of the wheel AND..... a new purchase(s)....Facelift Bi-Xenon headlights and the rings for the iron man mod Plan is to black the internals out when getting the iron man mod done
  2. I got the worst fitting side skirts from them (unfitting might be a better word)
  3. Phew haha to be fair I think it's well worth the money
  4. Thanks guys! I'm very pleased! And exactly as above, though I paid £120. Did the whole exchange thing too And will do mason
  5. Okay thanks, will give that a go! Would the door card not reveal bolts that holds the base to the car, opposed the mirror to the base though?
  6. Right guys, sorry for the belated update. Reason being I dont come bearing the updated pictures just yet. Reason being on fitting back with all the plastics in place, grant wasnt 100% happy and wanted to make a few tweeks to his jig before hand, so he has the one he modified again on my last visit, and I shall return after that. To stop one side of the harness from sliding down, he has added 'tabs'?
  7. Ok, so i think my drivers side mirror as took a little knock (though i cant see any marks) As its loose. By this I mean you can stand there and wiggle it (direction being to front of car to back of the car). Probably has a good 2 inches of travel, still works fine, but is really annoying, especially after a drive it points the mirror to the body of the car Was wondering a way to fix this? maybe pop the glass out and tighten a nut or something? Hope I don't have to swap it out as I have a carbon cover stuck on it! aha Thanks in advance
  8. Little update for now, in the form of my Re-Trimmed Steering wheel Thanks to Jack at Royal Steering wheels, very pleased with the quality and finish! I for perforated leather at 3 and 9 O'clock, smooth napa leather top and bottom, with red stitching and a red center line at the 2 position. Also +2mm of padding Before After
  9. And what is the compromise? I think the systems available now from what I have seen (not experienced to be far) are so good, I don't think there really is any?
  10. Welcome to the forum mate! I am only down the road from you, but I visit bishops a few times a week to see the missus may see you around!
  11. Ah yeah I know where you were, was a massive stand! That's a really cool picture! Thanks a lot man!
  12. Thanks mate! and aha really, thats really cool to hear! shame I didnt see you! And specs are somewhere, but they are: 19x10.5 rear 19x9.5 front both ET20 I got them from Cougar Store, which I highly recommend!
  13. If it bolts to the OEM seat belt mounts does that not mean that you have to run bucket seats and harnesses? You still can use the STD seatbelts, this uses the same fixing point, but goes behind, like a big washer
  14. I love that too, how did you do that Scott? Thanks guys, it's literally just a bit of vinyl. Thought it would be a cheap way to mock it up, as i do intend on getting the bumper replaced/repainted. In which case I'll get the red painted on Sorry! It was quite impromptu and we literally are only a minute around the corner from eachother! and they are rota grids mate, 19 x 9.5 and 19 x 10.5
  15. As I say I'll be getting my one Saturday, which will be the first he's made after the 'jig' in the picture. I will know more then, and will upload more detailed fitted pixtures then
  16. "The proper one is wider and comes with ali bolt on brackets to stop harness slippage"
  17. Aha cheers guys. Only thing is I get bored and want to start making change again...lol
  18. That's my car!!! That was made as a jig for him to make others, I'm collecting and fitting mine on the Saturday. Grant at GC Fabrications is a good mate, and can vouch for the quality of his work. Some of the cages I have seen him make are a work of art! Once I have fitted mine on Saturday, I will upload fitted pictures with the plastics etc back in place, ( I can confirm then which plastics will need cutting if you want to put them back) I Will then organize a group buy for you guys if you like? 5 people is £190 10 people is £180 powdercoated satin black Another pic
  19. I think it is as simple as he isnt running wide wheels at the rear, making the spokes flat, as the concave only starts becoming apparent as they get wider. , as I say maybe an 8j ish??. Are your tyre sizes the same front and back jimmy?
  20. the thinnest gtr D is like 9.5j iirc. I dont think you can have one without much dish, hence there being a different line between gtr and gtr D. I am pretty confident they are GTR and porbanly around the 8J mark?
  21. Thanks for all the comments guys! much appreciated! Not sure where to go with my car or to save for a 70, seeing his example definalty helps point towards the latter! They did! Went staright to the top so all the way up, we said it must of sounded cool from the outside aha. sr20 boost followed by roaring v6's! Cheers! and yes.... with sligh bumper scrape on every ramp....aha we are both based in chelmsford which is where these were taken. And yes, IIRC I think he said there are only 40 of these in the country or something?
