  1. Will,

I get my R35 GT-R done at Nobles Nissan High Performance centre for £100.00.

My Track 350Z costs me £25.00 to hire the gear and the use of the low entry ramp for 1 hour at my local tyre specialist.

So I would guess that £100.00 to £150.00 would be the going rate around London.

    Alex. :)

Ah yes, the London premium, forgot about that.

  2. That is a bit pricey imo, as I had all my Geo done on a 3D Snap-on system and it was about £90.

Depends how much they need to adjust, you might find the TOE is ok, and they just need to alter the camber... so it might work out less.

Still cheaper than new tyres though :)

  3. Oh crap! Not a good start. I think a panel beater could repair it, but even if he can't, doors aren't that expensive second hand. The only problem is his car.

if he has to go through insurance does that mean you still have to pay the excess even if there is no claim for your car? Not sure.

If it ends up you have to pay £350 for his you might as well get yours done for "free", otherwise you'll almost certainly get that repaired for less that the excess.

A panel beater would not touch that lol and it will cost him more in the long run if he uses his insurance.

You will be best off finding a new door in the correct paint color.

Even if a body shop would repair it, a good body shop will blend that in to the front wing and rear quarter so its not just the door they will paint. It will cost at least £350 anyway.

  4. Nope to the charger and turbo, keeping it low cost and low hassle, just trying to get her back to what she did have. any recommendations to what Ypipe

Low cost? You do realize a NA tuned Zed pushing 400BHP will cost you 3x the amount of a supercharger? (EDIT: I may have read your original post wrong, originally I figured you wanted to hit 360 - 400BHP)

If you aren't planning on pushing it to this and just want a slight boost, you will want a less restricting system and a remap.

I have a full system and uprev and I have 300BHP at the fly. So anything beyond this is going to cost thousands.

  5. More in the way of restoring anything lost or that, I've no idea. Its an HR so not much can be done but I would like to def find out what its producing.

EDIT - Just checked those and none are in Scotland lol Needs to be Scotland near me. Falkirk, Stirling etc.

There must be dynos up here somewhere

A dyno is one thing, a tuner is another.

That's why the guy above suggested uprev dealers.

Surely a google search for dynapack Scotland, dyno Scotland or rolling road Scotland should give you something...

  6. I am running 888s and the grip is second to none, but I only use in the dry and for trackdays and sprints.

Put 245/40/18 on all four wheels, but yes it will alter gearing a little but the speedo will read the same

as its driven off the front near side wheel which will have the same aspect ratio as the standard tyre.

Wear rate is subjective to what your doing but 2 or 3 all day trackdays would muller the fronts!!

Previous to the 888s I ran the Ad08s and although the grip is way down on the toyo's IMO they are the

best all round tyre if you do have to use your car as a daily driver with a few trackdays mixed in.

Have you ran super sports Andy?
