Are these all on your site? I always regarded a lip and splitter as the same thing lol!
EDIT: So damn expensive for the SEIBON ones, which is a shame cause I like them!
I might go for a PU one and have it painted gloss black...
-
Price?
Seems like good car but what are they asking?
Would probably pay 7.5k Max for that age/mileage/spec, and then probably only if I'd really fallen in love with it.
DB
Seriously? I think I got a steel with mine then! Mine had half the mileage and I paid 2k less!
-
Before I shell out on a new one, or spend more time searching for a supplier, wondered if anyone had one for sale?
Carbon fibre, mines, veilside v1, stillen... Let me know
-
Oh, silly me!
So why does it let you set it to 8k when it redlines at 6.5k?
-
Hey people,
I recently purchased my JDM 350Zee and i'm still checking out all the gadgets and what-not...
I have a problem with the digital rev limiter settings. No matter what I set the max RPM too, it still redlines at 6.5k. Am i missing something? I've currently stuck it to 8k, but still it doesnt go past 6.5k. Any ideas?

If you have an import then you don't get cruise control, at least my fairlady doesn't

Well i was doing 40 in a 40 zone & this loony in a FORD KA overtook me, then the next car, and the next and so on doing well above the limit ! i I didnt bite as there is nothing to prove but it got me thinking what sort of madness he "WOULD" do in something with more poke...........worrying ! Also it must be rare for a KA to overtake a 350Z lol SHAME ON ME
Why would you even bother. One day that muppet will kill someone and have to live with it for the rest of his life.
-
Any idea what this would free up HP wise?
-
Sorry, I didnt read any of the other replies as all I have to say is WHY? Run flats are terrible and should not be put on a car of this sort!
Just carry some tyre weld for that unfortunate moment when it does go flat! Or even better, a spare wheel
-
Ha, I have no idea how to do this sort of thing, but were you meant to do it in 4 jumps? LOL. You did it so quick!
Well done mate, not just for doing the jump but for taking time out to raise money for charities too. :thumb:

I was in the same boat as you but unfortunately for me I was like a kid in a candy shop and purchased the 1st one that I saw. Azure blue, roadster 33,000 I didnt see past the shiny bits. So when I actually got it home and properly checked it over I found quiet a few 'quirks'
For your budget though you should easily get what you want but like the others have said you will probably need to travel.
If you update your profile then we will know where you are located. If your local to me you can come and have a gander at mine and I can point out what to look out for.
Now that's forum dedication!

This makes me feel like I was very lucky with mine? But saying that I found loads of great example for well under your budget.
I paid under £6k for mine just 3 days ago and if you can find a mark on the outside or inside ill eat my hat. Plenty of great example out there, you may just have to do some travelling.
Welcome.

The end result is down to the customer if they go to the trouble of getting them elsewhere to save a few quid. You can only advise against it and offer no guarantee other than the fitting at that time...... Once it leaves....that's it.
I have had a brand new vreidestein £200 tyre bubble and degrade on the inside wall down to threads after only 200 mile.... Only found out cause I had to get a puncture repaired......
Got a new tyre for free from it...... But what if I hadn't had the puncture......
Even buying new you are totally reliant on the manufacturing process anyway..... And the quality control
I am sure others have had experiences with new tyres as well that we're fitted at authorised stockists....
Obviously buying second hand from salvage / ebay / local papers you really are taking a risk.....
I'm glad there are some tyre threads going, as this would be something I am looking to replace on my Zed and would like some feedback.
I've always had Michellin PS2's but it seems that nobody even mentions them anymore.
In regards to buying part worn tyres, obviously a lot of people would never entertain it but I have done this in the past. I had 4 x PS2s running on my E36, I got them with 6mm of thread and they lasted me years with no issues, but like you say it is a risk as you dont know how long they have been laying around, etc.
It would be nice to know how long the Goodyears last, I had the Goodyear Eagle F1's also back in the day, they last me 6 months and I couldnt justify buying them again.
Kwik-Fit down here will not touch anything not supplied by them, Pro-Tyre will do it but it depends who you speak too and what mood they are in. I've always got my tyres from Black Circles.

Try flux direct...
Im 24 with 6 points and no no-claims. For me and the Mrs it was £1000. And I got a cuddly meerkat.

I'm thinking more to the fact each individual exhaust direct links.
Simplicity makes for easier purchasing
Plus, what you suggested will help with SEO on the websites ranking in Google (Sorry, i'm a web developer)
Checking the website now, as I'm dieing to buy some goodies!

Welcome, I'm only in Southampton.
I also got rid of an E90 BMW for my zed, I did love my BMW but it was a diesel and fancied something completely different rather than swapping it for a petrol model although for a while I was looking for a 330i or a 530i in m-sport guise.
Enjoy your new toy
Jon
Got any good websites for me to browse for parts etc?
Also, do you guys rate the carbon fibre lips on fleabay?
Few parts on our site, click on our signature and also have a look in our Trader section on the forum...
Thank you!

JDMs have the nicest ass.
May be missing a gear, but still produces smiles.
Welcome to the forum
Missing a gear?
It is a big ol' ass on these but I do like the JDMs!

Hello! Thought I would sign up, as today I've done something I thought I would never do! I've turnt to the Jap side...
From since I can remember I have been around BMWs, grew up in them and always driven them! Today I sold my lovely E90 3 series;
Today I drove from Portsmouth to Cheltenham and got this;
Its fantastic! I'm in love with it already, the noise turns heads and it delivers the power nicely!
Basic Spec
Fairlady Import
51,000 Miles FSH
All the other jazz...
Future plans? Maybe some HSD coilovers (Had these on my E36, they were fantastic), spacers, Carbon front lip. Apart from that, it's perfect the way it is!
Anyway! Hello!
Bit floody out there!
