Where is the choice for "who frigging cares?" Lol

I was after one of these for christmas from my girlfriend, however being fibreglass im guessing this will get destroyed on speed bumps?
Definitely, and carbon.

I have a 370Z auto, don't really want to change it to whatever a Octet is. Thinking supercharge is out of my price range is I have to basically rebuild the engine bay, etc etc etc. Any cheaper performance upgrade where I don't have to upgrade anything else?
a V8?
If the 370Z isnt packing enough punch, and you dont want to force more power. Maybe another car?
N/A mods will see you the same amount of money for any kind decent gain.

Depends what you want to do, really.
That's what I'm doing, supercharging:
1. GTM SC Stage 1 kit (including better fuel pump, injectors, fuel return system)
2. Full true dual exhaust - ARK + ARK test pipes
3. Gearbox cooler
4. Oil cooler
5. Stainless steel brake lines + Motul 660 fluid + Ferodo DS2500 pads
optional 6. Better suspension package - KW V3 coilovers, Eibach ARBs, SPL drop links, SPL front and rear camber arms
optional 7. GTR intake + GTM fuel rails + GTM adaptor to 370z
If you want to do twin turbo:
1. GTM MHI TT kit, available soon-ish
2 - 7 as above
8. Valve body upgrade - GTM
9. Torque converter upgrade - GTM
On both situations you need UpRev licence and remap / dyno time.
No modified bonnet required, but I have the Seibon CF bonnet with vents, helps the cooling a bit.
P.S.
Follow my thread here, have a browse through: http://www.350z-uk.c...0z-area-before/
Why an Auto then Octet? Any reason for this?

So to supercharge my 370z auto I need: Supercharger, Modified Bonnet, Remapped ECU and deep pockets. No gearbox upgrade, hi flow cats etc?
I can only imagine you need a lot more than that.
Not sure on the 370Z but wat about internals, injectors, etc etc

Don't know.

In all seriousness, if someone parked like that touching my car, I would have phoned a friend and paid them to tow it and dump it somewhere.
OAP or not, that's bullshit and not excusable regardless how old and fragile she might be.

I have a samsung one, but most will all do the same job Just check the read and write speed.I think i'll go for a 128gb one - I usually buy from ebuyer - any one have any particular preferences ?
also - they appear to be laptop size ie 2.5 inch - I take it I'll need a caddy as well ?
Also my HDD just rests in the case
Mine hang out the side lol

Yes you will need a caddy. Unless your rig caters for 2.5" HDDs

do you prefer the m3 or the zed?
I'd actually choose the e36 M3.
Anhialates the zed too!

As Dave says throttle response should be pinpoint now.
Although if you've got cruise I'd recommend getting a softer map available to switch to in winter, especially for snow. I found the tune a nightmare in snow and you want a dumbed down throttle for snow.
It's a JDM wasso.
I always found the throttle response pretty good, but maybe it's just me.
The only thing the car had was a HKS speed limiter. Which I was unaware about.

Grimereaper by chemical guys is another one

i was looking for a carbon one also
Bitch stop copying me!
Haha jk. After the meet the other day I am also looking for a HR carbon bonnet

Well, kinda! It seems to have moved the torque from not so low down to more spread out over mid range. It's a lot more smoother through the range.
Not to mention it powers on now to the 7k rpm range.
I can't say throttle response is any difference, if anything it takes a split second longer for the torque to kick in. But all engines are different and tuned differently.
I am happy either way, and mark did a great job.

Had the UpRev today at Abbey. Graphs to follow.
I had 296BHP at the Fly and 238 Ft/lb Torque.

Nice wheels!

It's just bullshit if you ask me!
I love my JDM, it has 99% of the gadgets a UK GT has, apart from cruise control and button on the wheel, oh and the Bluetooth adapter. Which I can all live without.
