  1. Kwik Fit service That knocks at lease £2k off the price Haha i've got no idea why the previous owner decided to do that, bit of a shame as it would be nice to have Full NSH but I decided on balance it wasn't an issue. I've seen cars listed with full mfr Service history with far worse. It has since been serviced at the dealer i bought it from, the owner also part exchanged the car with them for a Quashkai (sp?), so it's a reasonably well known quantity. I'm really gutted to sell it, but sadly i can't afford all the costs of moving and renovating a house without the cash. My plan was to buy a nice keeper pre house purchase before the cash drain however I hadn't counted by being lured in on quite so much of a project. The car will effectively become electrics, gas central heating and if i'm "lucky" a portion of a kitchen.........brilliant!
  2. My car is linked to in the article in the 313 section. (hope this ok mods) http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/350z/nissan-350z-313-with-warranty/1449746 I did want to advertise it on here but unfortunately haven't reached 100 posts yet. Evidently I do a lot more reading than posting. However the forum has been a great resource and i'm willing to do anyone that comes via the forum a bit of a deal.
  3. Admiral where by far and away the cheapest for me this year. Just outside the M25, 27 year, 7 years ncb. I was with Sky previously and found them very good but their renewals process was frustrating and too expensive. Try adding on a second driver e.g. your mum or some other low risk person - usually brings the premium down.
  4. Falkens are alright but definitely do not have much purchase in the winter. They're not death traps but (for me at least) make pushing on when it's really cold and damp more tense than I think it should be. I had new falkens all round in November so not much experience of them on dry warm days but at this point I'd be tempted to switch MSS next time i'm ready for a full set.
  5. Thanks you've just prompted me to be pro-active and do something instead of just cursing. I'm going to make a concerted effort to report as many as possible over the next two weeks. This is the site for Essex https://secureweb1.essexcc.gov.uk/Highways/Report-a-highway-problem.aspx
  6. As stated the bonnet struts just come as is - i assume there are a number of ways to fit these but they were fitted to my old zed by attaching a bracket (which i don't have) to the bonnet mount, and bolting directly to the wing (where my finger is pointing). Please check your own cars but looking at my new car it looks like there is already a hole there so you just bolt the strut in instead of the existing nut.
  7. ShiftySpinks just in case it didnt work, I PM'd you earlier, let me know if you still want it. Thanks
  8. Thanks Colin. To be honest i thought it was an option like the vertical cover but anyway I now have two.
  9. It's a bit of pain to take photo's of because the glass reflects especially with a Iphone but hopefully this is enough to give you an idea. If you want to see bigger images they are available here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/94354080@N05/
  10. Yes no problem, check back after lunch and i'll post some up.
  11. Hi no problem - see pics in this thread http://www.350z-uk.c...-tonneau-cover/ Yes it is OEM it has two push studs securing the ends and then two tabs/clips which should "mate" with holes in the hatch section of the boot. I haven't got the one for sale with me today but I have another one fitted in my new zed (hence having one for sale) so i can go and take more pics at lunch if you like.
  12. I dont see why not. I'll PM you later this morning with some details.

  14. I had pagid discs with standard brembo pads fitted on the front of my old 350z. To my mind they were roughly the same as OEM though that said adequate for road use. I don't think they'd last long on a track though.

  16. Welcome - this forum has been a great help to me during zed ownership.
  17. I'd be interested in this. Already put my name down on PHs.

  19. Well I was sitting on the fence for the first page, but i'm now definitely in the I wouldn't bother camp. Selling to enthusiasts whether you like it or not is a different from your average joe, by definition they tend be festidious so you need to be prepared for some very knowledgable/opinionated customers and know how to deal with them. In my experience the best companies tend to accomodate these and/or counter anything they believe is misguided with a reasoned and factual response. Throwing your toys out of the pram is unlikely to have the same effect.
  20. I'm with Sky insurance which I think support this site. I would suggest giving them a call, so far they have always beaten my best quotes (usually Admiral) in terms of premium and cover. They've also been very helpful (over 2 years with 3 different cars) and seem pretty fair in terms of adding modifications and making changes to the policy unlike some insurers i've dealt with.
