  1. Ah hah it was your car i saw on Saturday then - loud looking exhaust! I've nipped in on Saturday for a gearbox oil change. I've had a number of jobs done by Sly now and second the above. Good prices and great service.
  2. I had my P2 done in Nov be Kaizer motor (see trader section) for a very reasonable price. Not sure what current prices are but see here for an indication: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63844-warning-on-nissan-service-cost/page__hl__price#entry947868 Very happy with the price and even more so the service. It has since occured to me that some of the more expensive quotes may have included spark plugs which would go someway to explain the price differential, other than that i struggled to see what justified the £300-£400 price bracket of some quotes i got. Fag packet calcs but £400 would be somewhere in the region of 100% mark up on parts/fluids and £200 labour - this seems exessive to me. Saying that c£200 from Nissan if it includes breakdown cover seems pretty reasonable but the numerous threads on here and many other marque specific forums lead me to doubt if the work would be up to scratch.
  3. Haha 'twas I. Heard you from a fair distance away but eventually saw it was a zed so thought it'd be rude not to try and say hi. Missus wasn't impressed, although It was entirely her fault, you can probably guess which hell we were heading for. Exhaust sounded good, what is it?
  4. No problem. Comments from the GTR owner here: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/170781-kaizer-motor-kent.html Sly the car definitely feels a bit more settled now thanks.
  5. Evening All, Just thought i'd report back after an afternoon at Kaizer Motor Company. I've recently purchased a 350z so with trepedation i took it for a once over and a P2 service. I bought the car privately and i'm always a bit nervous the first time a new purchase goes into a garage. Purely as i always have visions of been told i've bought a knacker. Anyway no such problems just a little list of consumables that i knew where probably getting towards the end of their life. Happily i cannot fault the service at Kaizer either. Sly is the consumate proffessional, the fact that he is happy for customers to watch him and takes the time to show and explain any issues underlines the quality of his work. Whilst i was there two GTR customers were having work done to their P&J's and were also equally enthusiastic about the whole operation. I couldn't of asked for a better introduction to ownership having found Kaizer through the forum in the first place. An extrememly fair price for service and wheel alignment rounds it off nicely. Rgds Ben

    Wanted - 350z

*** EDIT - Hi i have now joined the fold and have purchased my new Zed. Thanks for the responses! Good Afternoon All. Firstly i better introduce myself.......i suppose for reasons you will fully understand i've got my heart set on a 350z as my next car. It was orignally between a Z4 and and 350z but the latter has got under my skin somehow. I've been reading through the forums avidly to get an idea of what they're like to live with and things to look out for. I must say it seems like a great community compared to some of the bear pits out there. Anyway i'm based in the southeast and when i get my hands on one i hope to get involved. So hopefully this isn't breaking any rules but if anyone is thinking of selling up then i'm on the look out for well cared for cars with the following: GT Pack + Rays alloys with black leather for preference Registered before 23rd (i think) of March 2006 for the lower VED Sadly not in the burnt orange - i don't mind it but the missus has veteod it. FSH No more than 70k miles Ideally i'm looking at spending less than £7k but may stretch to £8k depending on the car. Thanks in advance and i hope to join the "club" soon.
