Holidays don't have to be on the beach! I spent two weeks trying to see everything in Peru and it's a big place. I never stopped moving, loved every minute, came back shattered - but in a good way! You are quite right my other half was talking about us going away abroad to watch a rally which I would love I think

It sounds like I'm like your partner Squee. I am a worrier I'm my own worst enemy I tend to worry about things that haven't even happened ffs!! Lol I get plenty of excercise with both my jobs and obviously you need to be on the ball all the time especially with the veterinary nursing. Good luck when getting your new family member

Wow!! Hats off to your parents. I will work all the hours I can its just the switching off thing I struggle with. My aim is exactly that would love a property portfolio but that's in a far away future but we all need goals to work for etc

That's sort of my problem to Sarnie obviously when I'm nursing at the vets its away from home but my dog grooming set up is at home

So just out of interest who here also runs their own business? I started a dog grooming business nearly 2 years ago, I still work full time I'm a veterinary nurse and do the grooming every evenings and Saturday mornings (not every sat morning) but what I would love to know is what do other people do to switch off and wind down? Doesn't matter if you run your own business or not what helps? I'm really finding it hard to switch off and get time for myself... Sarah

Mine was the same very light looked like a tool when I first drove her again that was about 4 months ago and it seems to be not just as light now but not heavy at all

A few years ago down at the stables the jack Russell caught a huge rat must of been half the size of the dog its crazy the power in those wee dogs and there's me standing there worried for the dogs safety needless to say ratty didn't live too long and the screams where awful
