  1. The figure of 8k was against a p/x if they could find a car against it. Appreciate that dealers have their mark up to make so was just asking opinions as to current price it might retail or trade at, prices are all over the shop everywhere I look so I thought I would ask on here, thanks for all the replies. Obviously I paid a lot more than that not that long ago so it is going to hurt a bit...ouch! Had some very good advice today from someone on here today so am thinking of just keeping the car and buying some old banger for commuting to work. Better than losing that amount of money in such a short time, especially as it is such a lovely car and took me so long to find one with the right spec, mileage and colour. As. I have been told, it's not going to lose much more if I keep it another year and at least I can have some fun with it in the Summer, at least I will feel that I have had some use out of it so the depreciation won't seem so bad.
  2. Ok, thanks, will give it a go on Pistonheads as can't do it in here Å·et.
  3. If I bought a car from them, non specific on the car. Less than that to buy outright but they did sell the car to me in the first place at a hell of a lot more than 8k. Like you say, they have to make a living, happy to buy it back though. Just wondering if I should try to sell privately first hence question, it's a lovely car just circumstances have changed and no budget left for a toy anymore sadly. At least it's a good time to sell one!
  4. Totally standard too, thanks for your suggestions. Offered 8k which seems a bit low
  5. Ok, cheers, probably been deleted but here goes. 2007 07 reg, roadster in grey metallic and full gt spec with sat nav. Facelift but not the las test 350 model if that makes sense, has bi xenons, led rear lights, updated interior. Roof is excellent, no tears or any issues at all. 35000 miles with full nissan service history, last serviced Jan 2014. All tyres excellent, bodywork excellent. 2 keys etc, old receipts and Mot.s. Hpi clear. Everything works, MOT Nov. Fantastic car and only use a third car. Only selling as need a daily runner now due to demise of our estate, need more seats and better mpg.
  6. I realise there is a section on here for sale and also what it's worth but I don't have 100 posts behind me, have been a member for a few years though. Need some help on pricing as I am having to sell my roadster and prices seem to be all over the place, been offered a ridiculous amount by the supplying dealer so looking for an idea. Where can I post on here please for some unbiased ideas? Thanks.
  7. Thanks for all the replies and useful info. Must admit it is a very marmite exhaust! love it or hate it. Might be giving Cougar store a ring soon for a more subtle one!
  8. Pic of mine on it's first real day of sun at last
  9. That would explain it, bit too noisy for me but the car is spot on so not too disappointed. Is it worth anything if I decide to go for something like a militek or cobra and try to sell it? I am more for the standard look and noise really.
  10. Took her out today, loving it. Can anyone tell me what the exhaust is please? Got no obvious markings on it but is quite loud even with baffles in. Have yet to decide about keeping it? Hope the pics come out, useless at posting things
  11. Welcome to the forum, loads of great info and help on here. Live your new zed, very nice looking car. I am in Fareham too, just taken possession of my third Zed in 2 years, these cars are addictive! Mine is a 2007 roadster in grey no doubt we will see each other around. The big grins will give it away!
  12. Thanks for the replies, my first real thread starter, nice to see so many contributions and pics! What makes them so addictive then, spec, performance, looks? The fact that you get so much car for the money makes me buy another one time, especially having driven some of the competition like the Porsche Boxter, Merc slk etc. GTR next, maybe........one day...........
  13. Pics of the 370 please. So wanted one of these but the write ups were mixed. Makes sense that they should be a better car as Nissan always go the extra mile. Think they are all great cars in their own way though. As you asked so nicely... Before the wheel refurb... After the wheel refurb... Thank you... Lovely, thanks for the pics!

  15. What makes you buy another one and which model do your prefer, original 350 or later 313 with the engine and light upgrades etc?
  16. Ok guys, in under 2 years I have just taken possession of my third Zed GT, these cars are addictive. First one was a 2005 gt in blade silver with 38k miles on, had to sell it to buy a daily runner......sad. Second was another GT, 2003 in grey metallic with 52k miles, drove even better than the newer one before. Sold it last month to buy......... 2007 roadster in grey met, GT with 35k. Just taxed it and ready for some fun. In between first and second gt I bought a Hondaa S2000, marmite cars I know but I hated it. All plastic and screaming engine, hence went back to a zed. How many Zeds have you owned and what is so addictive about these cars that has such a following?
  17. Love the rays on your car. Innovative use of the old ones as a towel rail till they sell!! Put them in eBay, will shift in no time, a lot of people prefer them.
  18. Funny you should say that as it has some sports exhaust on it, can't find out what it is though but it sounds good! Pics of that too, tomorrow hopefully. Cheers guys.
  19. Thanks for all the kind words. Taxing her in the morning then bringing her home at last. Pics to follow. Just hope I haven't jinxed the weather now
  20. Bought my 2007 roadster at the beginning of the month. Had to save for a month to tax it but roll on Tuesday, no more looking at it, can't wait to drive it. My 3rd zed but first roadster, hope we get a decent summer now
  21. Thank you. Must admit I was in two minds about a roadster as had 2 coupes in the past but having driven it I hope I have made the right decision. Certainly sounds good with the roof down!
  22. Hi all, have been a member on here for a while, more watching than contributing, but loving the forum. Just bought my 3rd Zed, a roadster this time, 2007 with 35k miles and immaculate. Have to wait till Tuesday when I can tax it, them she will be home at last. Loving these cars, what a lot of motor for the money and such fun. The tax bracket is high for my latest one but small sacrifice for such grin factor. Will out some pics up next week.
