  1. Quick question guys.. I've booked myself into the track and want to use my track wheels for the track and my normal wheels for the show.. Will there be anywhere I can jack up the Z and change her shoes?? If so.. does 4 rays with tyres fit in the car?! haha!
  2. Hi guys, After a long hard day of trying to remove this snapped D1 Spec wheel nut, it now looks like this: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Any ideas on how I could remove this nut?!!? My rays are going in for a full refurb anyways, hence the damage is not soooo critical, however do need to keep the damage minimal. I have tried smashing in a slightly bigger torx screwdriver and it just shattered one side. I have tried chiselling at an angle to rotate the nut off. I have tried chiselling down one side to try and split it open. I have tried drilling a small hole down the actual nut itself to help split it. Nothing has worked! I even just tried spinning it now whilst the temperature is cold! I have also go a 20mm spacer, so the stud that the nut sits on is luckily just the spacer stud, and not that of the actual wheel. I'm open to any suggestions!
  3. Oh and when I turn the wheel left 5 degrees and then right again immediately, it makes a clunk sound!! But only when stationary - when I'm driving and I change directions, it doesn't make any clunking sound. HEELPP! My baby is not as it was with her lowering springs!
  4. Hey guys, I just bought a second hand kW coilover (version 2) kit. I've fitted the fronts and have fitted the rear springs (can't fit damper due to missing nuts) At the moment, the car is sitting almost stock height, but I'm sure I shortened the spring loads but didn't go down in ride height? Also - which direction do I turn the Allen key at the top to adjust the rebound? Clockwise for stiff, anti-clockwise for soft? I've tried both fully clockwise and fully anti-clockwise and haven't noticed any difference.. The major thing that's worrying me is that the car is no longer direct when steering! It seems so much slower when turning! Any ideas what's going on?! Anyone have the manual for kW coilovers??
  5. http://www.350z-uk.c...ev-sub-dealers/ Haha dammit! I saw the advert in Banzai! I didnt read the other post
  6. Muhaha, I know who the Irish dealer is! A certain magazine has given it away!
  7. Hi Tarmac, Can you send your requirements to me at: rajmamtora@gmail.com? I know some people that may help!
  8. What do you have on your car? Your wheels look sexy!
  9. Interesting... I guess there's only one way to find out.. wait for the wheels to come! :yahoo:
  10. can you tell me a bit more about your setup? Wheels? Suspension? Any arch work? Fronts Varrstoen ES2.2.2 19x9.5 Falken 452 - 225/35/19 ET22 20mm Spacer so ET2 BC Coilovers Wound down 80% id say No arch work Rears Varrstoen ES2.2.2 19x10.5 Falken 452 - 245/35/19 ET22 25mm Spacer so ET-3 BC Racing Coilovers wound down to the maximum with adjuster screws removed. Rear arches have been rolled Are these photos with ET-3 at the rears? or when it was at ET+2?
  11. any lower off set than that on the rear with 10.5j your need to roll the arches. I can run some camber with some stretched tyres to avoid rolling right? I have seen some examples - but not sure of how true the photos are!
  12. I agree - it's what I have
  13. Ohhh maayynn... But look at this:http://www.varrstoen.eu/blog.php#b32 Look under "For our german customer" The dude is running ET0! Albeit with some stretched tyres..
  14. Oh no! So it looks like it will scrape then? Is there any other way around it, as I have found a good deal with these wheels... I guess worst case scenario, I just buy coilovers and lift the car a bit
  15. If I get the front with 9.5J with ET0, and the rears with 10.5J ET12, will they sit flush against my wheel arch, without it protruding out of the wheel arch?
  16. So will they catch my arch even without spacers?
  17. I am looking at purchasing wheels, and I am not 100% about whether these wheels will fit. I have a set of Rays with the GT Brembo kit. The wheels I am looking at come in the following sizes: 19x9,5j et0 in matt black and 19x10,5j et12 in hyperblack or I can have 19"x10,5J all around et12 (also got these in black chrome) Which of these options will fit my car without rolling the fenders? I don't mind buying spacers if need be (already have 20mm on front and 25mm on back) Thank you in advance!! Raj
  18. Yeah I'd need to have the tyres just in case I need to drive it (it's my daily car). Any size would do. Literally just need something to roll on whilst I do the small refurb I have planned..
  19. Oh yeah of course duh! I was just thinking of having different sized wheels everywhere haha. Duhh! Oh cheers man! You seem a bit of a legend haha
  20. Hooolyy moolyy! Wheeeeeels! How come I would need to swap 2 wheels even though I am refurbing one at a time? Could I not get a wheel with the same PCD and the same size wheel and same sized profile? or something verryy similar? Thats what I was thinking anyway... I'm from Loughborough

  23. can you tell any difference? Oh yes! I fitted the SuperPro ARB bushes, which will actually be coming off very soon, once I fit my Eibach ARB's which have bushes supplied. The SuperPro's fitted are sized for the OEM bar. They will be coming off in the next couple of weeks and will be 50% off RRP, £20+ delivery for front and rear with about 7k miles on them. PM me if you're interested. These anti roll bar bushes still available out of interest? Also - do you know what size the anti roll bar bush size is? I have seen 32mm and 34mm on sale. I have a 2004 GT if that makes any difference?
