sorry but i think the 350r sounds better than the c63

i worked for VAG and spent alot of time at the Milton Keynes HQ a few years back, maybe thats why i have no love for them seeing everything that went wrong with them i didnt compare a 4g to a r8? your 1 series sounds like a skyline standard? An Evo has a 4G63, you said you this is "yes" as compared to the Lambo V10 thats "meh", thats a comparison in my book. And my 135 has a BMW sports exhaust on it and hi flow cats which I think are BM as well. Not standard on all 1 series but not aftermarket either. @WINKJ - sorry mate, I thought this was a discussion board, where you have discussions? Im just asking Steve to tell me how a 2.0 4 cylinder sounds better than a 5.2 litre V10, or is that against the rules suddenly? try 255/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear to match factory tyre sizes also what depth are the tyres on the front, if there 3mm and the rears are now 8mm thats alot of difference, you will find it thinks the car is wheel spinning as the rear wheels are not turning at the specified ratio to the fronts

Have you actually heard a C63 on full chat? If youre telling me this is a boring monotonous sound then you need your hearing checked: The first one is enough but thats 7 minutes if anyone fancies some background music yea i have heard it its just not for me i think they sound the same all the time, like there is no character to them, its the same with all german engine noises if im honest Turbo 4 cyl golf sounds meh straight 6 bmw sounds meh V8 audi sounds meh R8 V10 sounds Meh Turbo 4 cylinder wrx or evo yes Straight 6 rb or jz yea V8 Jag-f type 5.0 coyote infact most things american yes LFA v10 yes they have a character to me all the German stuff just sounds like a machine not saying there not good as engines and cars just the sounds dont appeal to me German cars don't just have any personalty to me you can give them a bit by throwing some mods on them, but then its like having friends who opens up when hes drunk, he great when hes had a few but after it he is still boring old dave

well im with you on this from an mechanical point of view if a drive line takes 10Hp to turn is irrelevant if the motor turning it produces 100hp or 1000hp it still takes 10hp to turn it like you said i cant see a stock nissan loosing 23hp in the drive line then a 700hp Z loosing nearly 90hp in the drive train its still the same drive train

Disregard this man immediately, the C63 and RS4 particularly sound awesome. Ive tried most of these as I was in a similar position a while back. The RS4 isnt particularly exciting but is very nice looking and the estate is practical, the C63 is really good but very, very juicy and the M3 handles better ......... but then Lexus IS-F feels more special and the XFR is probably the best car, but I still cant help feeling its one for my Dad. It would be close between the Lexus and the BMW for me, Id probably go Lexus after much consideration. If I didnt care about corners Id buy a full fat Range Rover Ive not tried a Stang but if it comes close to any of the above in terms of quality, dynamics and design Ill eat my trousers. Sorry oh holy one full of all knowledge i forgot how your your opinion is the only right one

i just find modern german v8s so There too monotone, They like to go to work do there job and come home, they don't enjoy themselves they take themselves way to seriously, if they where a person they would be the sort of person i would want to work for me, but wouldn't want to be friends with.

at the end of the Day its power at the tyres that matters, its all well and good saying to your mates down the pub (adenoides voice) My engine mkes 300bhp, if only 250 makes it to the road i think around a 30hp lose from engine to wheels on a 350z is about right tho from what abbey motrosport told me when i went for dyno run i know my friends evo fq300 lost about 70-80 Hp through the drivetrain
