    BLEEDING BRAKES

Motul 600 or 660 is the good fluid and 1ltr should be enough. Regarding slope - I think it's better to have car jacked up and wheel off, easier to access bleeding nipples that way. So even surface would be safer for this. I used normal 500ml plastic bottle with a little hole in the lid and then used clear hose (can't remember the size, but so I just fits over bleeding nipples). One end of hose fed through the hole in the lid, so old brake fluid drains into the bottle, and other end goes over the nipple when you undo it, so it doesn't squirt everywhere. And follow bleeding procedure. Remember that there are 2 nipples on brembo calipers and make sure you don't run brake fluid bottle dry, as you will get air in the system and will have to bleed it again lol just keep topping it up to the top. Hope that helps and not too confusing lol
  2. And if GB falls through - I had emails from Goodridge recently saying that they have 25% sale...so that would make it around £85...not as good as £75...but still better than any trader's prices at the moment
  3. Well, that's really annoying and that trader(s) really pi**ed me off (whoever that is!) None of the trades are offering them for £75 or less - so I'm still in for a GB.
  4. I think we should wait till 20 Come on people...this is a must upgrade for your brakes!

    Ebay Y-pipe

I bought that one (or similar one, but it was £120), had it on for 2 years now with no issues! Same as my eBay dacats - £90 and had them for over 3 years now without any issues.
  6. Probably easier and cheaper to get it from Tarmac... As you looking at delivery costs, import tax and customs duty on top of that if buy from US
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/371194285810 20 for £3.45. Can't go wrong with that lol

    Boot Struts

SGS do the best struts. Around £60 tho for the pair. I recently changed mine and they are brilliant. Some had a set off eBay for like £30 and happy with them.

  10. Basically speaking - better performance/firmer braking! One of the "must" upgrades for the brakes. I'm currently running HEL lines, but heard about few that failed - so upgrading to Goodridge to be safe lol

  13. No you dont have to have it that way. What tips? Its straight forward. ***Strip all plastics on rear strut bar ***Buy something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-RSA-7-16-UNF-Harness-Seatbelt-1-Inch-Eye-Bolts-Stress-Plates-FIA-MSA-/301361007654?hash=item462a840c26:g:KyIAAOSwg3FUjDg4 *** Weld it on But its only suitable for harnesses with clip-on system...so they clip onto eye bolt. I use OMP ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMP-4-M-Point-Harness-Road-Black-ECE-CHEAP-DELIVERY-WORLDWIDE-Harness-Belts-/281137193828?hash=item4175152364:g:9HwAAOxyoFRR5V6b

    Replacement seats

I'm sure they will fit! They probably haven't tried and to be on safe side said they don't fit
  15. ^^ that. I love cheap eBay finds as I don't believe that they are all crap... Example are my de-cats... Paid £80 and had them now for 3 years, including 2 years being supercharged - no problems at all. But things like seatbelts/harnesses, seats and so on- I wouldn't dare risk it or risk someone else's life.

  17. No you wouldn't as it's not any lighter than OEM bonnet It still has fibreglass base/frame with just carbon cloth on top of it. I've got that bonnet lol I took my bonnet off last night and realised how light the oem one is! Haha yea I did as well...took OEM one off and went to put c/f one on and was like "this is not any lighter" ah well, looks good tho!

  19. Thanks It doesn't but it's just a case of putting to the aux on the head unit. I chose not to as I turn the sound of on sat navs anyway Oh yea, that's a good point, as it's only used as sat nav and other things and you can still use car radio for music. I need to sort something like this out soon as well.
