  1. As you look at the engine from the front, there are 2 black covers behind the belts, held on by 10mm head bolts. Can these simply be removed (i don't mean permanently!) or are they holding/sealing anything? There doesn't appear to be evidence of a gasket etc. Ta muchly
  2. When you guys (Wasso and Mark) meet next week it's gonna be like.... erm.... I can't even think of an analogy HUGE enough to describe the moment your two creative, highly polished minds collide
  3. Getting slowly drunk then out in the zed? I'm guessing and hoping that isn't how it read! Happy birthday
  4. This engine bay tarting up is addictive! Never bothered before, but think I've been bitten. Keep trying to convince myself there's no point as 99.9% of people won't see under the bonnet, but I just keep doing little bits.
  5. Sold to Marzman. Admin please lock. I'm not copying you Mark, just using you for inspiration Now, if you know anyone that's selling a Hayabusa, I want one to paint purple, chrome various parts and stick a mahoosive 300 section tyre in May even keep it in my living room....
  6. Hi Fluke, Yes I'm still making these. Need to make a couple this weekend for members. I'll drop you a PM with some details.
  7. As per title I have for sale a blue engine bay dress up kit. I recently bought it to add some colour to my bay, but have since found a similar product in silver/grey, which wil match my colour scheme much better. This kit is new and unused. It consists of: 3 metres of 7mm ID Split Coloured Conduit 5 metres of 15mm ID Split Coloured Conduit 2 metres of 25mm ID Split Coloured Conduit 10x Colour matched cable ties The conduit is split so can either be placed over the top of the original black conduit, or you can remove the OEM stuff first, before replacing with the new. There is plenty to transform yuor engine bay and it can also be used to cover tubing/pipes as well as wiring. £10 posted. Drop me a PM if interested. Cheers, Ian EDIT - Price amended as its been highlighted you can get the same kit on eBay for a tenner.
  8. Just watched the race. I've been out the country on hols, so spent the week avoiding anything that might publish results (including reading this thread) But as it is motorcycle racing, avoiding any press coverage was pretty easy Had 6 channel of football though FANTASTIC RACE! And I think Cal's performance can be summed up in a sentence: Fall off, fracture leg then CUCLE TO MEDICAL CENTRE! The guy is a legend. Fergie - I'm going to Silverstone mate. Got a weekend pass for me and the other half. Anyone else?
  9. About time you updated your own build thread Ben!
  10. I'll also stick the URL in a Facebook status if it'll help. Not sure how many of my efriends have a Google account, but if a few more help, then it's worth a shot
  11. Dave, I work as a test analyst (a developer's worst enemy ) testing mainly websites and eCommerce developments. When I'm back at work next week, I'll ask my colleagues that I know who have google accounts (does it apply to gmail too?) to +1 your site. If you need a hand with QA and testing of any of your future projects, give me a shout
  12. Sweet. Looking forward to seeing them fitted

    Washer jets?

Although I can't remember part number or anything, from memory, that looks the same, yes mate Hope it solves your issue
  14. Great result and transformation with the seats. Where are you located Fluke (as you used Midlandmars)?
  15. If you trade the Zed for that....... I'd understand. EDIT: Needs spacers though

    Washer jets?

No problem. Don't worry too much if the non return valve you find looks nothing like the one in the pic. The one I replaced mine with was a small black one.
  17. So, apart from the exhaust, what other mods are you doing/having done to the car?
  18. Calm down BBK, she's only just signed up! Hello and LaurenAmy. Lots of different choices with exhausts as I'm sure you're aware, not just with back boxes but decats, HFC etc, all make differences to the sound. Plenty of members in the surrounding area, so I'm sure you'll be able to get an idea. Keep us all posted with the Modball Rally developments
  19. Thanks Adam Great that the divider stood up to a full shakedown test on the track. The only way I think the test could of been improved would be to of put a couple of bags of shopping in your boot
