  1. I had the same problem as well, I didn't even notice it on the test drive but only after a few hour after ownership did I hear the dreaded click! The garage I bought it from did get it fixed under my 6month warranty. I told them I had It "inspected" from a local garage and identified the problem they said ok, done! I say, just go and speak to them, they could only say no.
  2. Took my Zed to Infiniti Glasgow yesterday for a P2 service, new breaks and fluid & MOT. This is the second time I've taken my Zed to Infiniti and like the first time, service is ace! Spoke to the technician that carried out the job (David) before and after. Very helpful & knowledgable in what I had to ask him and what I needed done. Happy with the car and service received, many thanks to David and the team @ Infiniti Glasgow!
  3. Just my luck! I was a second away from posting for the spats, phone rang at work I answered... Colleagues stole my phone and fraped my Facebook.
  4. Very tempting, mite put in a wee cheeky bid though I'd should consult the good lady first
  5. Keep it mate, i really regret selling my Zed. Thats why im buying another! Would you like to buy it back Stuart ;-) I'm trying to buy a 313 from a dealer, so i can trade in my BMW. If it dosent work out i might think about it! Hope it goes well for you mate!

  7. Passed him @ the lights, still sporting the Varis bonnet. Must say it looks much better in the flesh
  8. That's not bad, I mite phone and see if they could carry out the labour if I provide the gear? Last year when I went for my P1 I asked the technician what oil was used and was told they use 'total'? But I fancy using motul like the other cool kids
  9. How much is the p3 setting you back Ewan? And if you don't have a lift back out, they take you to breahead so you can burn some time.
  10. Hey folks I've tried the search but I didn't get the answer so was wondering if anyone knows of or has the fitting guide to a OEM tonneau divider? I've purchased one from a member here a while back he's sold his Zed and cant recall how it's fitted. Now I've got all the brackets and bolts I think but I just can't seem to fit it on strut thing as the only access points are caved inwards and the brackets provided are sort of flush if that makes any sense? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Tony
  11. Hmms, seems I'll be going back to infinity then.
  12. Hey guys/gals, where is the best and cheapest place to get your Zed serviced & MOT'd in the Glasgow area? Now I've been to Infinity last year they were great but maybe there's a few hidden gems out there? I've heard good things about The garage & Automek and was wanting some feedback from members who've used them before or even have recommendations for other Indy garages in the Glasgow area? Many thanks, Tony Ps to the mods if this is the wrong place to post please feel free to move this as I'm not entirely sure.
  13. Welcomes and also as some others have said already, same as mines 54 GM
  14. Would really fancy this but too far to travel for me, if you could pm me the site you got this from I'd much appreciate it
  15. Funny thing is my colleague at work bought a 3.0L Z4 more or less the same time as when I got my 350z and both cars are of same age if thats relevent, We obviously had a spin of each others to compare. The Z4 I found pretty back end happy, I wasn't purposely trying to slide it (maybe because its not got lsd?) I just didn't feel very safe driving it to be fair. It feels smaller and more cramped than the 350z, looks wise we both agreed (including the follow workforce ) that the 350z is better and more aggressive. And after we've both owned our cars for a year he's decided to sell his and get something "more fun"... Needless to say I've still got mines. Now I'm just telling you a wee story, as Dblock says which I agree with is you really need to look at and test drive the cars you want and find the rite car for you be it a 350z or not. Good luck car hunting mate!
  16. Welcome! Good luck with the hunt for "the one" take your time and don't rush it ;-)
  17. Woodlands mate, haven't actually seen your zed about, but then again hardly any other zeds in Glesga. GLWTS bud!
  18. Don't wanna sound like a pr*ck but I'm pretty sure they are Rota Gtr's and not grids mate as I'm sporting a set as well (18's though). And hello! From a fellow weegie
  19. and great choice on colour & leather, ive got the exact same
  20. Ouch mate! I too also have an OCD with the zed and my previous cars, always have and still will park where no-one will park, which seems like a 10mile hike. Or worse case senario if I have to park amongst the crowd I'll have to do a "car next to me check" car seats/booster seats - is a defo no go. My misses really hates it when we go out in the zed.
  21. To be fair mate the times I see your car it's always parked up and never on the move, I'd feel a tad silly waving to an unoccupied car. I've got a standard GM zed with black rota GTR's. I'll try and post some pics as soon as its clear, dry and she's had a wash
