  1. So it's been a sad week for me I've sold both my 350z and my 370z the 370z was going to be my new project car but anything that I might of wanted to do to it I'd already done to the 350

and I didn't want to do the same old thing also I plan on retiring next year so wanted a fresh new project to keep me occupied well other than the long list of jobs the missus has lined up for me.

so I've bought myself an old Cooper S to run around in and am on the lookout for the new project car which is going to be a Boxster EV conversion just got to find the right car just missed one low mileage knackered engine.

I will still keep an eye on this forum to stay in touch and see what everyone is up to

Madness, probably one of the most ambitious projects for Z33, next to Sasha's hybrid Z. Massive props to you.

Wtf is wrong with you people?!?! Independence Day is one of my favourite films ever, right up there with Jurassic Park and Aliens! Honestly love it so much, I can recite it word for word which drives the other half crazy when we’re watching it

I only have 2 problems with independence day

Looks nice Andy, and the Jenvey ITBs are lovely (one of the things I fancied on the Elise but couldn't stomach the cost). Might be a bit much for a 'more practical' car (trading away some reliability?) and sadly it's silver...

yea i feel the same way about green  but the itb's are gone almost stockish

Hi all, always strange to write these kind of posts when one's new.

I've just parted with my S1 Lotus Elise after an 'interesting' 30 months ownership experience, and am now looking for the more practical boyhood dream car (after reading about the 350Z GT4 in Top Gear magazine back in 2004/05).

Drove a 350Z some years ago as a potential replacement for a Z4 but couldn't reach a trade in deal that suited. 5 years down the line and there's no trade in to worry about!

I've been monitoring the market for a little while, and my main criteria are:

    • I'm not fussed about which engine, but if it's going to be £580 a year to tax, it better be the HR
    • Not silver (I intend to keep an old promise to myself)
    • Coupe
    • Manual

Anyway, slightly overlong first post just to say hi, and I hope I'll be about for a good while yet.

    Cheers,

    Simon

how about in gunmetal looking for a good home

G4+ 350Z link ECU    Part no.N350+    Removed from my Z prior to sale has been great fun very flexible this is what I used with my Individual Throttle Bodies  just swap for standard ecu and run a tube from the manifold to connect to the on board sensor and you should be up and running this has been 100% reliable this is a link to the manufacturers site and their online support is excellent  https://dealers.linkecu.com

The ECU wont use the rear O2 sensors and doesn't work with the factory wideband fronts if you have them. I had separate Spartan wideband sensors connected to mine

I also have an expansion loom connected as shown in photo giving an extra analog in,digital in and auxiliary output

I'm really not keen on posting this so would prefer local collection but will consider if no other option I'm looking for £600 ovno these are still nearly £1250 new

and the expansion looms cost £50

I will also be putting my 2 Spartan wideband controllers and sensors up for sale but will give anyone wanting the ECU first refusal

     :)

    now sold

not any takers on this deal? People un-interested or not wanting to come to Abbey for tuning your 350/370Z , I would like to know why TBH

    Thanks

    Mark

seems like reasonable and harmless question to me

personally I've blown all my pocket money on a new Z and some shiny bits for it

  9. So I decided to put more of the Z back to stock before selling it the link G4+ ecu is coming back off and the 2 spartan wideband sensors and controllers, seems people are happy to modify cars but wary of buying them and if I stop to think about it I'd be the same

In other news The invidia Exhaust on the Z sounds Awesome excellent quality
