  1. it can snap knicker elas .................. (Clarkson)

Really I thought he slated it. The woman on 5th gear said it is one of the best cars she has ever driven.

He wasn't keen .......... but he was WRONG

he also has now come round to thinking the GTR (and I quote) is "absolutely unbefrigginlievable"

    I'll second that one :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::#1:

  2. IMO text speak has no place on this forum. We have no real character limit like text messages which is where text speak was bourne from, and it also makes what people are trying to say very hard to understand. If people dont have the time to write what they want to say proplerly then I dont have the time to read it ;)

Text speak is for text messages, where even now you dont have a character limit on them any more as you can link multiple messages together, so even there its pretty irrelevant.

Maybe so...but it is a generation gap thing ;) personally I dont use text speak but to shoot a guy thats asking for help for using it just seems harsh/extreme/not very friendly ... just my 2 pence :surrender:

I don't think text speak is the only issue with this guy, he's rubbed a few members up the wrong way in this thread and others with his general attitude.

Then surely the dignified way for a club would be to PM him and let him know/ warn him :ban: / tell him to wind his neck in rather than have a public 'cat fight' ?

A bit of diplomacy goes a long way, taking the P*ss is just going to put his back up ( understandably *typo*? ) and certainly not help promote a friendly club :surrender:

I know Im a newbie here ( not to Z forums/Clubs ) but I was just shocked to see such infantile 'ragging' done for all too see :thumbdown:

That ...you may be glad to know...is my last word on this thread :(

  4. Social skills, politeness, respect that's how you achieve the answers you want.

If on the uthr and u cum on ere talkin in txt spk which a lot of ppl h8 and sayin they know nuthin + bad mouthin those who've bin there and dun it expect 2 B treated like u av tret the uthrs!

In reality however if you had used the search before demanding answers you would have already found most of the answers you were looking for. As said PM Tarmac, CS, P15ULT and see how people can help and remember the key thing when dealing with others. Politeness, respect and spell words correctly! Not doing so is absurdly lazy in modern society with spelling and grammatical help built into virtually every single word processing package. If you can't spell, copy and paste are your friends.

:scare::scare::scare: OMG! Am I glad that I didnt get this response with my first post here, sadly Text speak is a part of life today...for speed or call it laziness...depends on how much time you have on your hands or the whats acceptable amongst your friends I guess

I'm just relieved that you guys have accepted my shortfall ie...no knowledge whatsoever about modding but we all have to start somewhere, thanks to Buster, Keyser, Chilli Red and several others for helping me on my way

  8. Hi everyone,

Need some advice for CelticVal, She will be visiting the ZedShed soon and we are intending to change her JDM brakes for Brembo's.

We have the full kit - callipers, Disks Pipes etc all OEM parts but what pads?

I being a very very occasional track user  ran DS2500 on my stock setup and with my PF front disks I have a fair bit of info on what pads are good for track but would appreciate some input on good road use options.

I'm told she won't be using the car on track, I don't want to recommend DS2500 as they are expensive unless the feeling is they are worth it for road use.

    Over to the experts ............................

    Thanks Chris

  9. Here's a start:-

    http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/350z02

There's a website with a mahoosive amounts of pictures by manufacturer, I'm sure someone with a better memory than me will be along soon :)

Got my spoiler home safely thanks Chilli :D

 so you had a passenger with you :D which one is it?

A Nismo V2....cant wait to get it fitted, I just need to make my mind up on a front bumper now....any good web sites you can suggest? I need Pictures!

Thanks  Iv just seen this front, is it a stock front with Nismo V2 lip? I want the Varis carbon intake duct too, then I guess the sides and rear will have to be modded :headhurt: to keep it in proportion, my plastic is certainly gonna get a bashing lol!

  10. For those that care :p

Name change from RC182 to Humpy - Reason being a lot easier to say when introducing yourself at car meets

Wasnt entirely to sure where to start a thread on this so thought Humpy deserved an introduction :D

    Steve.

The mind boggles  it was good to meet you and your other half Steve  loved the Carvery too :snack:
