Yesterday was quite a nice over here so I decided to clean the 350 and go for a bit of a drive! I got a few photo's and was happy with how clean the car looked until I decided to go into a field for some photos, back end is now covered in mud again! Have attached a few photos below, am looking forward to having the stonechips taken off the front bumper when it's sprayed and I'm thinking of maybe changing the wheels in the summer!

I'm missing the number plate bracket on the front of my Z after running a Velcro 1 for a while. I'm looking at changing back to the original bracket but don't have it or the bolts to bolt it on with! If anyone has one along with the bits needed to fit it to the bumper would be interested! Thanks

Been taking some photos of my Azure Z this weekend as she's been back on the road. I took a couple yesterday before a proper clean which I did this morning and then this afternoon went out and took some post-cleaning photos! Before Clean: After Clean: She has a few paintwork marks which I'm planning on getting sorted soon, apart from this she's running well and is still looking good I think! Puts a massive smile on my face when it wants to as well which is always good!

Hey I haven't been on here for a bit, and my 350 was off the road for a bit. Will be great to meet other IOWighters with 350s, took a couple of photos of mine today as gave her a bit of a run!

Thanks for the heads up, when do the calenders have to be in by? I will clean her up and take some photos properly one day! She's pretty much standard so not too exciting but still the best colour!!

Couple taken today of mine, not driven her properly for a while so was good to take advantage of the good weather. She's a bit dirty now though and needs another clean! Excuse the brake dust on the fronts!!

Hey everyone! I'm not 100% sure I will be able to make it as I'm fitting a new radiator tomorrow due to the old one getting a bit old and causing problems! If I get it done in time I will post on here and let you know. I've also just got hold of a new Sigma 10-20mm Lens for my camera so can get some good group shots although only my drivers side is photogenic until she's had the passenger wing replaced!

Hey Steve, The grey Z at Spithead is my brothers, my blue one is normally parked near it as we work in the same building! I will let you know re: Saturday afternoon as not 100% sure if mine will be back on the road then as the garage are being a bit slow!

I look forward to hearing the tale about the 350 at the dealer! They seemed to want to get rid of it when I was up there but I was never going to spend that much on that model car unless it was a 313! With regard to the exhaust I have a K2, it sounds fantastic and isn't too loud! I've read some bad things about the fitting of the K1, the K2 seems to fit quite well. You can have a listen when we meet and see what you think, I've got a Popcharger fitted too and think it's a great combination sound wise!

Hey, I'm based over in Wootton but I work in Sandown so will give you a wave if I see you! I think I may have seen a blue roadster a couple of weeks ago near Lake so may have been you, have you seen the one for sale in Ryde? I had a look around it before I got mine but the price tag put me off slightly as it was well into 313 model territory! Repairs will hopefully go well but I find the problem over here is nobody wants to touch them as they're only used to doing repairs to small cars! I will put up a post once the car is back on the road, shouldn't be long she's just having a service/MOT and an exhaust bracket fixing!

I'm a fellow Isle of Wighter! I've got an Azure Blue Z but she's off the road this week having a few bits done... need a meet at some point though!

Did a couple of weeks ago but was just checking in-case anyone had one sitting in a shed gathering dust or anything!

I used some exhaust paste between the gaps which were rattling!, got the same effect as welding! Not sure how long it will last though.

I'm on the lookout for a Standard Front Bumper to fit a 2004 350z. Am not fussed on colour as i'm having a respray to remove stonechips removed from the front of the car but would like it to be in as good condition as possible still!

Thanks for the reply. I found that thread just after I posted once I used the search! doh! I will take it to a garage in the week to be looked at, I don't have much of a clue how much I should be looking at price wise for it to be welded! Do you have an idea how much is too much for welding so I have an idea in my head?

Hey everyone! I've got a Japspeed K2 on my 350Z and recently it's started rattling, not sure where from exactly but it seems to be from the tip on the right side, not sure if this is possible though? It only seems to be when I first start up and for the first 5 or 10 minutes when driving, is quite loud from outside the car! I didn't know if anyone had experienced this before and what the best way was to fix it! I have just spend quite a bit of money on her so can't afford to put a new exhaust on her currently! So just looking for a way to repair her! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What was the reason for them needing to be recalled? Major safety issue or could it possibly cause an engine to go bang?

Hey all! I've not been a member here too long, got my 350z about a month ago! She's a 2004 GT Model in Azure (I think, please correct me if i'm wrong) I've already made use of the forum purchasing a couple of parts from zmanalex to get her running spot on! She's got 45k miles on the clock with some good history and is in good condition! Few small mods as follows: Japspeed Exhaust & Y-Pipe JWT Popcharger Upgraded alloy Radiator Carbon Fibre Radiator Cooling Panel Carbon Fibre Engine Cover Have also got a couple of sets of wheels (handy for winter style weather currently!) Due to the poor weather have only taken one photo, plan is to have a front end respray done within the next month as she has a few stone chips so want them cleaned up. Once done I will get out with the camera! Will hopefully use the forum lots while I own the car, am not 100% sure what my plans are for her yet though but would love to have a play with a few parts.

Ahh ok, I was thinking it would be easier to match it with pre-owned parts than having them sprayed! I will shop around a few local bodyshops and see what they quote me!

My front passenger wing has a few stone chips and marks and would like to replace it if possible. Not sure what people have available? Would love it to bolt on and be a matching colour if possible so no spraying needed! Also if anyone has an Azure front bumper it would be great as again I have quite a few stonechips, am also missing headlight washers which is something I would like to put back on so if the bumper has those would be a bonus! My car is a pre-facelift 2004 model. Thanks

Thanks for the replies, that's great news! Is there ever any problems with things like the lights not lining up with the bumper or the fitting brackets not matching or is it a direct fit replacement? Also are the washers again just plug and play or are the 06> versions different with wiring/piping etc?
