  2. Well, this came up with 45k on the clock and much better spec than owt else I'd seen for similar price, 3.5hr round trip, now need to recover the bloody golf from there!
  3. Just need to give it a name, as the sirrocco forum guys abrev to Rocco, was thinking, Sly, or perhaps butkus.
  4. So yesterday, I picked one of these up (similar spec, not this one): http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201412029380384/sort/datedesc/usedcars/atcide/emc-cars-SSC006/alert-email-date/20141220/searchcontext/alert/saved-search-id/2c929af24a38b44b014a4881a179004f/postcode/nr189nd/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/model/scirocco/price-from/500/price-to/11000/engine-size-cars/2l_to_2-5l/page/1/make/volkswagen/radius/90?logcode=p From these guys Titty Ho, website here: http://www.tittyhomotorcompany.co.uk/ Have to say, the salesman was great, really relaxed, gave me the trade plate and off I went! I've put this this my business as that's all I'll use it for so no tax implications, financed at 3.5%! For that rate I thought why shell £11k out in one go!? It's a little noisy in the cabin but the spec is great and pretty rapid, think it's about 200bhp and they can be mapped for some decent gains, so off to join the scirrocco forum see what they say. Photos' to follow when and if I can be arsed.
  5. One of the best private plates I've seen!
  6. Sarnie said he's never worked with a good one. Cheers chirag pm coming soon as I feel the overall consensus is not to diy lol.
  7. We will meet and you're still buying! And its now £50. Bought the scirocco, as per FB. Love it, 59 plate 2ltr turbo 45k. Quite surprised actually more satisfying than I thought for a vw.
  8. So I've been offered the opportunity to buy out the shared equity from my house (think the builders are in the @*!#). Seems like a pretty good deal, almost 50% of what it's worth at market value. Question is, do I need to appoint a solicitor or can I just speak to the land registry? As far as I can see it's just the land registry releasing the charge from the builder and transferring title it to me. How complicated can it be? Anyone any experience/advice on this?
  9. True, never, ever again, also where's my £40?
  10. Might be better to PM or call them.
  11. Ok in principle yes but always had a soft spot for the 'Rocco and I prefer the styling over the Golf. Might try and test drive another impreza over the next couple of weeks.
  12. Discussed to death, it utter turd. You're not alone.
  13. The garage just sold the 1.4 rocco but said they've got a golf with the same engine and apparently it's the same chassis. And I can have it for an hour tomorrow to rag around the county.
  14. Interesting, went to drive the 1.4 Rocco today forgot driving license, had to turn back.
  15. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah, no.
