  1. Right now you'll almost always get away with 85 assuming you aren't tailgating. an 80 limit would likely mean this would stil be true at 90. I tend to cruise at 92.. IE 6 points not a ban.. But keep my eyes open. This kind of ruling would be superb. But it's fair to say that the dickweed in the middle lane doing 60 is by far the most pressing issue. People don't seem to understand that lanes 2 and 3 are overtaking lanes in this country. In holland or germany it's illegal to consistantly use the wrong lane. UK driving manners* are atrocious (as are our roads) compared to almost everywhere else in Europe. *Other than Belgians. Obviously.
  2. What are the costs/BHP gains (dyno proven please ? ) on the high flow cats.. and what is the cell count on said cats? I'm planning a fairly stringently controlled £/ft lb spend on the performance side... don't want to go over board
  3. Horsham developments have a very good name and are highly recognised as very good engineers. For the money, I would say the plenum spacer is the most cost effective power gain along with decats and remap. I'm not really prepared to decat as I can't be bothered with the MOT hassles on emissions every year but the plenum spacer looks like a good purchase to go along with the UpRev. I believe Abbey can account for the spacer and tweek the map slightly also? Is this: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php ... s_id=25052 the one to go for or are there better kits around? Cheers guys Dave
  4. Appreciated. I'm not too bad behind the wheel.. kart from time to time etc (oh go on then: :) ) but clearly this will be the biggest difference in tracktime you are still right. Tyres will be sorted in due course.
  5. Right. Excluding any kind of FI discussions what would you recommend are the two best £ for ft/lb mods I can do to the zed? Its an 04 350z GT. Already has a Miltek backbox by the look of things! (I'm being premature as I'm picking up the car tomorrow ) so for now let's not dicsuss exhaust mods.. I know the Y pipe is popular but I've not been able to verify exactly what has been done to the exhaust yet. So. I'm thinking UpRev and "something" ? Thoughts appreciated
  6. Heh. Nice. I'd be too scared to do that personally though: If the guy can't park then chances are he'd just drive through someone elses wing mirror. Assuming he could get in through passenger door that is. Very nice though.
  7. Never the answer Rog. Damn you to hell. Etc. Weak ass
  8. Yes. Phone nissan. Just the price of a key plus half an hours labour or "coding fee" shouldn't be too bad..

  10. Wait so if the rolling % is out the car will only limp? That's mad. how much of a % can you get away with? Sorry for threadjack.
  11. I'd say 40mm would be fine assuming you don't throw the car over them at 30+ mph If you don't mind me asking: How much did you pay for the LED rears and where from?
  12. Looks superb, spacing is just right. Could be lowered though
  13. Sounds awesome. Always better to get this kind of car second hand rather than be the poor sap who ploughs 10k into it! Do you have any dyno runs etc?

  16. Are you claiming on an otherwise unwarrantied car just as the car should not have corrosion when so new? Or do you have a warranty with third party? Sorry for asking: This sounds like a "common topic": But I'm new to these parts
  17. Anyone want something for spares or px or whatever? Track toy but obviously a bit "low brow" for this forum. Still no harm in posting. 1h to go! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300596428010? ... 1555.l2649
