  3. Hey guys, Have been quoted £150 inc VAT to do the rear window including rear quarters. Thought this was quite good, has anyone around the Gloucestershire area used these guys before? Price seem ok? http://www.windowtintingcheltenham.co.uk Will probably go for 75% tint as I think limo black wont look quite right on Gunmetal. cheers
  4. Had debadged rear and I let you out of a junction about 08:30 ish this morning!
  5. Dude don't tempt fate!! I dont want to see another thread on how to read engine error codes! haha! I had to replace my battery when I got my Zed and it was still on the orginal one, so it did really well to last that long (04 Zed). Just wish it went before I bought it so I didnt have to fork out!
  6. Thanks Alex, will try and get one second hand as brand new they are a little steep (I know your price is great compared to Nissan though!!!).
  7. My knob is a little worn from the previous owner.....wow that sounds really bad!! Drop us a message here or PM me if any you guys have one in good condition for sale. I think i just missed out on the one that is in the for sale section at the moment. Thanks
  8. Nice list of cars there, bet the Fiat was great little car to drive!!
  9. Hey, I could be wrong but I dont think that is the correct code. Here is the list of fault codes and I cant see any with a letter in them:- viewtopic.php?f=17&t=21762&hilit=error+code+description Here is the ECU reset guide as well which shows you how to read the codes and clear them if necessary. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=89 Hope this helps.
  10. Great advice!! Got the marine grease off ebay for about £5, 1 hour to apply to both sides and its fixed the clicking!! Very happy!! Thanks
  11. Very tidy car! My mate has one of these in yellow, they are really great cars and soooo tuneable. He is running about 300bhp and it pulls like a train! I was going to get one until I realised how pricey they are! £10k for a 12/13 year old car
  12. Mate that totally sucks, makes me worried about driving mine. Wonder why the TC didnt help you save it. Only thing I can think of was some fuel or oil on the road. Your tyres have good tread??? Hope you get it all sorted, get some prices/estimates then decide about the insurance road.
  13. Hey, I have been looking into getting these along with some Tein springs. At risk of asking a stupid question why are these cheaper than the Eibach spacers? Are they just unbranded ones? Do they come with all you need to fit them (I have 18" standard Rays). thanks
  14. Yeah my battery was replaced soon after I got my Z as it ran out of juice and I had no issues with codes. Clever old Z eh!
  15. Just sent you a PM mate
  16. Well for the last 6 years I have driven Hondas and moved from a JDM Integra DC2 to the Z, so I had to think about everything you have just asked! Would it still be fun?! The Intergra is one of those cars you just have to own, its fantastic and as with the Ep3 they are so easy to drive, you just chuck them into corners and come out of them whailing in VTEC! Overall I do miss the DC2 some of the time, but 90% of the time the Z just ticks all the boxes. As said above its a TOTALLY different way of driving and they do feel really heavy in comparison but the sound of the V6 is unbelievable (better than VTEC IMO). You have to drive the Z with care, but you will definately feel the power difference in 3rd onwards and can get to very illegal speeds without realising. The guy that said their Z got more looks than the EP3, totally agree!! I have gotten a load more admiring looks and comments about my Z than I ever got about my Integra, and my Integra was such a clean car. Take a few test drives in a Z, you will see what we mean. But just dont get hung up on comparing them as they are two different ends of the car spectrum. Z is a cruiser and not something you throw into corners hard (unless you have an awesome suspension set up as said above!).
  17. Just wanted to say thanks for my Scorpion Exhaust, delivered very quickly and packed really well. Thanks for anwering all my quesions promtly!! Car sounds much better now!!
  18. Yeah I feel your pain on that. The Z's I saw were either not up to scratch or they were sold by the time I could go and see them. I ended leaving home at 6:30am with my mate to drive and see 3 Z's, the last one I saw that day was the one I bought-Typical! I did knock him down on price though as the car needed some work (nothing serious just a blowing backbox and a rear wheel bearing which was on a mot advisory), but it was a great opportunity to get a Scorpion exhaust! Keep your eyes peeled, its all worth the stress in the end
  19. If its of any help I contacted Mark at Evo motors when I was looking at getting a Z and he was really helpful. He stocks a lot of Z's so let him know what your after in terms of spec and he will give you a shout when one comes in. If he wants to price drop he will let you know, that's what he did for me it's just that I had already bought a Z. Agree with above though it is a buyers market. Good luck, you will find the right one eventually.
  20. Love them in blue, I struggled to find a nice one in that colour, not many about. Have fun with it!
