  1. Maintenance, I wouldn't say it's much dearer than my previous cars (Audi TT 225, Clio Cup). Fuel; Since I bought mine (last summer), I've not reset the OBC, and it's showing an average of 27mpg, which is above the book average slightly. Insurance; It's a little dearer than my TT was, but only £100 a year. Road tax; Depending on the year you go for, mine is in the lower tax band (£240ish, rather than £460ish) Servicing; No different to any other, in my experience. Plugs, oils, filters etc.
  2. Haha, good spot on my typo, they were added last year. Yes the stubby is on, but the pictures were taken before I fitted it, I can add another picture should someone want to see it

  5. The switch is playing up today I can see the reason. When I lock/unlock the car using the key fob, the actual lock doesn't move as far as pressing the button on the door (which is how I tested when fitting). So next weekend I'll try to re-position the switch and try again using the key fob. At her age, it's definitely fashion although tbf, they are her 'DIY' pair.
  6. Fitted mine today. Thanks to the easy to follow guide, it tooK about an hour to take the door off and fit the new circuit. However, it did take me (read the wife) about another hour to get the switch to work 100% without slipping. 2 hours, 2 fuses, and lots of help from the wife ( patience is her forte) and we were done. Works a treat, and is a nice touch to the car. Thank you
