  1. Thought it was the worst one yet.
  2. There are lens adaptors for the Nex-5 for pretty much every manufacturer...
  3. Here are my first two shots with the Nex-5... Not the most exciting photos ever, but hey.. gotta start somewhere
  4. Me either!!! 134,000 views of my stupid videos?!!? crazy.
  5. Some crazy crap in mine!!! http://www.youtube.com/user/manphibian69?feature=mhee
  6. I wouldn't be happy with all the bubbles in this pic Hope the rest of it is better up close? Looks good in the other pics though
  7. You know what - i nearly asked the instructor if there was some ridiculous mapping on the lambo - it's like the 1st 3 gears only had 25% power... I reckon it's Rife! They're all on super fuel efficient maps to cut costs
  8. When i went on one of these, the cars all felt slower than they should have been. The instructor admitted in the end that the cars were remapped to be a lot slower (safer) than normal. I went in an EvoX and it was running hardly any boost!

    THE "Z"

Looks awesome, except for the roof... I used Di-noc on my TT, it really doesn't look great after a few months
  10. I've just gone for the 18-55mm lens. it's a good multi-purpose lens, and is supposed to be a very good one The only other specific lenses you can get are a 16mm wide angle, and an 18-200mm lens, but that costs £650 for just the lens! there are adaptors on ebay to use just about any existing lens you can find though But the 18-55 will do me fine (probably for ever)
  11. Check the retailer makes you eligible for the £50 cashback offer from Sony that's on till the end of August For example, i got mine from Amazon for £450, but you had to buy from them direct, not one of the other sellers on Amazon marketplace And Stew, it's much more than a bridge camera It has all the features of a DSLR, just smaller
  12. I know what you're saying, but this camera is perfect for me. I'm not a serious photographer, I just wanted a bit more capability than my bridge camera, and to learn a bit more about it all. This Sony has some fantastic features, and makes everything accessible and easy. 1080P video and things like the sweep panorama function are big pluses for me. and little things like with every shot, there's a slider for 'background blur' where you simply turn the dial to adjust the depth of field, without having to delve into a load of settings, and it just works Plus it's nothing like a compact camera, where you press the button, and you get a picture 2 seconds later, it really is very quick Another great setting is Sony's low light handheld mode, where it takes 6 pictures and combines them to eliminate blurring in low light Love it! Unfortunately my SD card hasn't arrived yet, so i can only store one picture at a time
  13. ^ This. It aint no bridge camera If there was a shutter delay you wouldn't get 7 frames per second would you... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_NEX-5
  14. The Sony does 7 frames per second....
  15. Well after about 5 minutes of careful consideration last night, i ordered a NEX-5 Loved the look of it, and some of the features like the background blur thing look fantastic for a beginner like me Can't wait to get out with it
  16. I thinki have about 5 more in my photobucket account, and a couple on my phone It's ruining my life Anyway,if you think these are mad, you should see my dead fly picture collection
