  1. Just googled her! Defo wasn't her. She was a lot younger. I think what we really need to know is was this nurse fit? Get any pictures? Afraid not mate and a bit old if I'm honest, saying that, I've had many a good tune out of an old fiddle but not on this occasion!
  2. I had something very similar but not really spooky like that. I worked in a large steelworks when I was in my 20's and one day a complete stranger about my age came up to me in work and started chatting away to me. He knew my name, asked how my Lotus was going plus a few other things that only someone who knew me would know, I was too embarrassed to ask "who are you" and bluffed my way through the 5 minute conversation. Now the thing is, I have an excellent memory, especially when it comes to faces. For example I was in B&Q when I spotted a guy I was in school with like 45 years ago and hadn't seen him since. Whoever this was is a complete mystery and although I racked my brains out at the time never discovered who he was. I never saw him again but then again there were 11,000+ people working at the steelworks back then. Pete Honestly Pete, it was a total shock. What she told me was known by 3 people. Myself, my dead father and another family member. My dad had been dead for around 15 years at the time! I've been around dead bodies for nearly 20 years at work. I've been in rooms were people have just passed away, witnessed post mortums, put thousands of bodies into fridges and I've never experienced any type of spiritual experience. I asked a member of staff about this bank nurse and they referred to her as "spooky". Apparently she passed a message on about a patient who had died 4 years previous and the regular nurses were in shock!
  3. She must be off the forum, did she mention BMW ? How did you know that? Do you know her? Was it you?? I know her, her name is Doris Stokes Just googled her! Defo wasn't her. She was a lot younger.

  5. Right no one rip the arse out of this!! I work in a hospital and one day I walked into a ward. A bank nurse who I have never laid eyes on in my life said to me "oh we need to talk"! Later I was back in the same ward and she asked to speak to me in the staff room. I sat down and she said that my dad Willie said to tell me......... I nearly passed out because the things she was talking about, no one knew about and was a real concern for me. I racked my mind to how she would know this stuff and to this date i still don't know. Never saw her before that day and never saw her since. Also no one at work could possibly have told her anything and she only ever did one shift in our hospital!
  6. Can't... breathe...  Need... air... Yeah, just buy another BMW. Tbh mate if it was anyone else asking I'd have happily given up some time to give you a detailed overview of 911 ownership, but since you seem to ignore everything any one says on cars and simply just buy a BMW any way I'm not really sure I can be bothered. Not mean harshly, but it's the truth. At least I cant be accused of not buying cars!
  7. Not Nice, Ricey! I hope your customer service is nicer?
  8. it's too late at night for confession, pop back in the morning Take another 370 for a run and see how you feel, is a nismo too much ? Wouldn't want to pay all that cash in depreciation!
  9. Seriously though, I got a 3 month ban for not giving half my tips from a wedding to the black baby's in Africa!! Oh and i also got caught drinking the Alter wine before mass!
  10. I appreciate your honesty and I'll take your advice! BTW, I've never been psychologically profiled. Anything else i should know, lol. It's dark, very dark, you don't want to know I used to be an Alter Boy when I was at school, thought you should know that!

  12. Love this and it always reminds me of a trip i once made to England.
  13. Thanks for the reply. That's the kind of info i was looking for! I've been reading up on the bore stroke issues etc and i see what you mean regarding not sleeping at night. Glad your enjoying your zed more! +1 on what he said, I will guarantee if you buy one you will regret it Got me thinking now! TBH, my 350z felt bullet proof and nothing ever went wrong with it apart from a error code regarding co sensor but it was in -7 degrees and after a reset it never returned. If the 370z is as reliable as the 350z it might be the best shout. I enjoy my z4 coupe but it's killing me with its ridiculously hard ride!!

  15. Most members will know that I've changed cars a lot over the last few years. At present I'm considering changing my Z4 3.0si coupe for either a newish Z4 35is, 370z or older Cayman s. I bumped into an old training partner today who is a Porsche independent specialist with over 20 years experience. We got talking about cars and he suggested a Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 2/4 S. I got thinking about it and started counting up how much cash I've lost in depreciation over the last 5 years and it's a lot of money! So I started looking at 911's and soon realised that a really nice 996 with lower than average miles, full Porsche/Indy service history in mint condition can be bought for under £15k. I really don't know much about 911's except they have an excellent reputation for being an awesome sports car and having high running costs. I really don't need a car but enjoy having one as i only work 1 mile from home two days a week. I would use it for driving pleasure rather than necessity. Does anyone know what particular models are worth looking out for and any specs. I quite like the GT3 factory fitted kits. Also what are realistic running costs per year to keep it in perfect order and does anyone know how much a £12-£15k car would depreciate over the next 3-5 years?
  16. I initially wrote deleted, lol but edited it. There was a young guy on the news tonight whoops cancer (god bless him). He raised £1m for a cancer charity, so I googled the charity and they pay some of there staff between £100k and £110k a year and it's annual income us around £13m. I read that story too. Think he was only 19 years old and diagnosed with an untreatable cancer. That's pretty shocking how much some of them get paid. Actually not shocking, more sickening. Yeah young guys on his death bed raising £1m for his charity but the bosses of the charity are being paid over £100k. But then again maybe the bosses raise millions by them selves every year, justifying there salaries.
  17. I often ask myself if they actually have a cure for cancer, but it would not be financially beneficial to put it out there. How many scientists, charity workers etc would be out of work if a cure was found. I'm probably talking nonsense but it popped into my mind.

  19. Lol, ok here's the question I asked! I've been thinking about what charity to donate to on a monthly basis. The only thing is that I feel that some charities pay their Chief Executives too high a salary, but as I don't understand the day to day work of a charity's Chief executive i thought I would post on here for some advice. A quick google and I found these articles. http://www.dailymail...ed-say-MPs.html http://www.telegraph...han-100000.html Now i understand that charities are a real lifeline for thousands of families every year but I need some clarification on these salaries before I part with my hard earned cash. One other thing is that my sister does lots of charity work for cancer research and raises thousands every year. But I watched the news tonight and there was a story about a pharmaceutical company charging £90,000 per patient for there drug which can extend a patients life by 6 months. The drug has now been removed from the list of drugs that the NHS is willing to fund due to its expense. My question is, what's the chances of this particular pharmaceutical company receiving funds raised by public charity work and then manufacturing there drug and charging the NHS a fortune for it?
  20. Posted a question but decided to delete it.
  21. I was talking to a friend from work who got a parking charge from this lot of scumbags a week ago. He said he recognised the letter as his wife is currently going though the process. He said he didn't open it and wrote on the envelope "No longer at this address" and stuck it in a postbox back to them! I'm curious as to how this will go.
  22. Juyst remember it is now out of dat for England and Wales Does it still apply in Scotland?
