  1. Although I'd imagine this is very annoying from a buyers point of view, you also have to look at it from the sellers side. Although there decent people out there, there are a lot of timewasters about which gets infuriating. If selling a car etc, I'd always keep welcoming new interest until I had the cash firmly in my hand.

Hmm... I agree with this but again I don't.

If it's a case of selling the car, everything is agreed and all the seller needs to do it get the mot done for example then it's sold, it should be an exclusive sale. Not still advertising it.

So in this situation the engine just needed to be removed and prepped for delivery. As all money had been agreed. So this should have been an exclusive sale.

Personally I would have send a deposit to show commitment. Had you offered and the seller not wanted to take one then that's a different story.

I would often say no to deposits and it was on a 'first to put cash in my hand' kind of thing. - this is because previously I've had deposits and people then can't collect for a week or 2.

  2. Budget?

Tbh I wouldn't even consider an RS4. Sure, a nice car, but hardly a thrill a minute. The C63 has the most charismatic V8 engine of the last 15 years in it, but an E90/2 M3 has it licked in dynamics and it's available in a manual. New Mustang would also be an excellent car, but I'm not sure I could choose it over a C63.

    Amen to that.

  3. Hi guys,

Question is are the exterior door handles plastic or metal?

And are the interior plastic or metal?

Also, are the circles around the gauges and dials plastic or metal?

I'm thinking about getting them polished just to be different.

I would go check, but my misses has taken the car to work!

  4. Hi,

ATM I've got brembo discs/pads all round.

When I was at the ring last month I got a warped discs. (I think this was after a car pulled out on me along the autobahn and had to do a very quick stop from about 140)

The rears are fine, it's the fronts.

I've just bought ds2500 fronts and I'm just deciding what discs to buy, I'm more than likely going to go Dba as the brembo didn't hold up. Which I though was odd.

Can I upgrade fronts and leave rears as they are? Or will it make the car brake weirdly?

So fronts would be Dba/ds2500 and rear brembo/brembo

Car will be used for occasional track day.

Ild like to put ds2500 and Dba rear, but ild like to spend funds on other bits if they don't NEED it.

    Cheers

  5. Hi people.

It's something I've looked at doing as realistically I need some form of career. I trained as a police officer a few years ago and have always been interested in public services.

I've fallen into the pub trade, and somehow blagged being a manager, but it's poor money and serving drunks and mopping floors at 2am is not something I love.

    Any fire fighters here?

Just seeing where you work. Would you recommend it? What's the deal with the shift patterns Etc etc.

    Cheers

  6. Aren't the 17s really heavy?

I've got some oz racing wheels 17. Put them on for a week. Far too small

Still in garage if you want?

Need spacers due to offset though.

    Oh, and they're bright orange!!
