  1. Isn't every car I would say 99.9% of people on here own a poor mans version of something ;) I haven't seen many people owning Lykans/Verons/Hyaras  I would say take a car on its merits not on the fact that you can get a more expensive version/option.

Everyone is different, I like to vary my car ownership and be able to look back and know I tried lots of different variants, others like to say they have loved and cherished the same car for a decade. If OP is bored, then there is a reason there to move on no point sticking with it and contrary to popular belief there are a lot of alternatives out there with particular attributes that beat the trusty 350z :)

Correct - Although don't misunderstand what i'm saying - I'm not bashing anyone for owning a 350z - its more than likely ill buy another one next year - because thats what i want to spend on a car that will see 3 trackdays a year and only a handful of sundays. - if i had surplus money to spend on a weekend / track car it would be the 370z / GT-R if i was mega rich.

  2. The issue a lot of people have is that for the money its hard to find something better.

the s2000 is loved by some, hated by others.

the boxster is a poor mans 911

the 370z is double the price of a 350z.

    Supercharging is 5k-10k

    996 has questionable headlights

    e46 m3 is 4 doors.

    Lotus elise is too raw.

Z4 is 230bhp in its top form (ignoring the z4m)

and then your back to the zed.

Boxster comment is so 'top gear' it is in its own right a cracking car for the money. So is the 350z the poor mans 370z or GTR?

The comment about the boxster was from when i was looking at one - and wanting a 997 but couldn't afford one - so looked at the boxster - so to me - i was falling short.

and agreed the 350z is the poor mans 370z, and the 370z is the poor mans GT-R. - if i had the money there is no reason i would buy a 370z over the GT-R.

over the years i've had 4 350z, for the simple reason i couldn't afford to spunk 15k on a 370z when getting on the property ladder.

but agreed, the boxster is very capable car.

  3. I've got black and grey roses on my shoulders - because i was 18 and wanted a tattoo pretty much.

a map of the world outline on inside of my bicep - i got this when i was 19 and was planning to travel a lot - i then met my misses and we had a child so that put and travel plans to one side.

writing on my ribs - in memory of one of my best mates that died.

and a 'holiday tattoo' that im halfway through having lasered off. - it hurts. a lot.

now that im older and wiser (only 24) - if i could go back i would have not had any of them done.

i think ive become a bit more of a perfectionist - so little bits of each tattoo annoy me. -

such as the map of the world - as the ink has spread of the years, some of the lines of the countrys now touch. So france and uk are joined.

The writing on my ribs - one of the letters that is a R looks like a S - again with ink spread.

my roses when i got them at 18 - i walked into the first tattoo shop i could find. ive since had them re done and improved them massivley - still not 100%

and my holiday tattoo is so bad its being removed.

i want more - but will wait and do A LOT more research on the artist first.

  5. Seems to be okay.

Although there is no picture of the drivers side of the car which seems odd - check they aren't hiding any damage

No mention of clutch and it will be coming up to that time soon.

The ad also says serviced by husbands garage - check if that means its got paperwork or not. Otherwise its a car with no history since 2009.

Due to the above two points - i personally would pay £6000-£6500 due to 'summer tax' at the moment.

  6. Hi,

For Sale is a set of 4 19" staggered fitment Linea Corse Dyna.

These came fitted on my last 350z - but as i was tracking the car i wanted 18s and went back to rays.

These came fresh from a refurb in gunmetal grey. - no curbing at all.

They also come with 4 nearly new tyres.

    Fronts: Allecelra 245/35/19

    Rears: Kuhmo Ecsta 275/35/19

Prices for these new - without tyres is over £750 - then add tyres and you're probably close to £1000.

So i think a price of £600 ono is fair.

Cash on Collection only - as they are in mint condition - I don't want them getting damaged in transit.

    Pick up from Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

  7. From what i remember

    New headlight

    new battery

air con system doesn't work- isn't just a simple regas

    replacement air bag module

    steering collum wiring / spiral

I think there was a bit more.

the thing that made me sceptical was it had a front end, yet it needs arch liners and a headlight? which suggests the repair was not done properly.

I was only prepared to pay about 2/2.5k for it, but expect it to go north of £3k

parts/time/hassle for a cat d just didn't seem worth it.

  8. the only issue I see - and this happened to me;

check when your mortgage offer expires - my new build property was delayed to a date beyond my mortgage offer expiry date - you cant just get it extended - you have to go through the whole process again - which may mean the amount you are offered reduces / not offered at all whilst in prohation. - NatWest don't consider anyone if they haven't been in their current position for 6 months as far a I am aware.

  9. it was posted 29 days ago - if it was a scam it would have been reported by now hopefully.

maybe the owner works in the armed forces and is posted elsewhere?

    nothing seems odd to me.

ALSO: cars in northern Ireland/scotland are generally cheaper too.
