Little update. Bought some new front indicator casings. Fitted them today in the rain! Photo shows one on the right changed vs 23 year old original on the left. makes the front look a little fresher Looking at getting a rear whiteline sway bar next to sharpen up the turn in/handling

Although pretty much all tyres on there rate overall between 70 and 95 percent, its a case of putting them in order. So not everyone rates them fantastically well, and the internet is also known for whinging as much as praising. Agreed on experts, although as we have found, finding experts on every tyre available is nigh on impossible (yourself excluded of course )

It's all about relativity though. There are tyres on there scoring bad scores...on the whole if there are enough ratings ie over a thousand and all people are talking equally positive one tyre that gets 90% doesn't mean it's almost perfect, what it does mean is if another tyre gets 80% with again thousands of reviews it's likely in all probability that the first one will be better...

A google turned up something in 2009 and a news article about them being fitted to boggo mercs? Apparently the 'green' design process makes them eco friendly tyres.

Just bear in mind AA inspection will only do so much, a knowledgable 370z owner from here going with you to look at it will know more about common problems than any AA guy with a checklist. Does the AA checklist include tell tale signs of oil gallery gaskets for example? Have you read up about the steering lock issue? Etc. If you want it, go for it. Cars like this are not about saving money, but its also not worth wasting money as well. Only buy at a price you feel happy with, don't buy it because its cheaper than other ones. Also worth having a slush fund - say a thousand or so back in case of any immediate issues that come up.

Probably worth looking at the import market, from what I have read so many have been modded and ragged (could be wrong of course, its been known!) but buying a stock one from Japan will help with that and avoid the metal rot. Most importers will also underseal the cars for you at a decent price.
