I would want to know why he is selling less than 6 months after buying, but it may just turn out to be a bargain.

The light is back a few weeks after I first reset it. I recorded the code and it shows: twice slow Once Three times fast Five times fast Twice slow I presume its code 135 front H02S heater, has anyone else had this problem? Was it expensive?

Both engine specs and transmission options are mentioned in the 0-62 box. you have explained engine and transmission options but then just gave a ballpark figure on the mpg across all engines. Most manufacturers state boot space in cubic litres. Nobody cares how fast a slow vehicle is. We want to know about the goodies, gadgets pulling power and maybe the emissions/tax or 100000 mile warranties(if there is one). Things to get us interested in the first place. Just my opinion though.

Queue the violins.Well I was supposed to be getting the rattle sorted on the zed and lashing some cash on good food,drink and some holiday gear but the accountant has messed up my wages, so now I still have the rattle and the added bonus of not much cash and not much to do!

Ok guys, doomsday is coming! I am fed up of this rattle so Andy from CS is gonna book me in later so I will let you know the outcome. I'm gonna say my prayers now.

The thing is, when you've got music on etc you don't really notice it. Sometimes it really irritates me and is VERY noticeable! When I switch the A/C on, it disappears!! The exhaust blows inconsistently, it directly related to the knocking sound. It's like the car is idling so lean, it's close to cutting off, hence the splutter. I really hope I can get to the bottom of this! It's weird only people from Leicester have noticed this Yes we definitely need to arrange something, it's nice to know there's more members from Leicester! CS is always down for a meet also! Now you have explained it in a bit more detail, mine seems nowhere near as bad as this its more like this... Hmmmmmmmmm-duf-hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm-duf-hmmmmmmmm lol but that's how it sounds making the noise about every ten seconds, it does not seem like its on the verge of cutting out and the exhaust is not blowing either.

hi guys, I swear there must be something in the fuel in leicester because I have the exact same sound, its never bothered me though. Nice to see some more peeps from leicester we should arrange a mini meet, I know there is a couple more from leicester too (racing green and CS)

I'd love one.....but I htink there's quite a long wait, and it's limited numbers anyway. I'm pretty sure there is one sat in the Derby branch right now! I saw it a few times over the last two months, last time about 4 weeks ago! Go go go!

stupid question time, Would it fit a 2004 model?

The gearknob is tight enough that I can't do it any tighter by hand, also when you say loosened the lever, do you mean I may have loosened the actual gearstick itself? If so what do I need to tighten it?(dont want to damage anything)

Oh and just to clarify, the rattle sounds to me like it is coming from the gearstick and not the gearknob.

Hi guys, just a quick update on the rattle, hear are the things I have tried so far 1- fitted the rubber o ring 2- fitted metal ring+ rubber o ring 3- re fitted the oem gearknob 4-re fitted the aftermarket gearknob None of the above made any difference- there is still a rattle Anymore suggestions? Cheers mate just pulled this out from the oem knob, could this be my problem? Sorry if it seems like I am making a mountain out of a mole hill, its just bugging me. Thanks everyone for your input.

Ok, I have my knob in hand. Is this the rubber o ring you mentioned that is shoved right inside the knob?

Not daft at all mate, anything's got to be worth a try, but no I've not replaced it yet because I don't have any grips, and want to do it properly this time, just incase I have damaged something.

Yes I do have an aftermarket gearknob and coincidently the day I fitted it was the day I first noticed it rattle, the thing is my mate said to me on the way to japfest he could hear the rattle, but I could not hear it, I got the knob from japfest and fitted it while I was there (not using the grips and rubber method ) the old knob came off really easy that's why I continued to replace it. Anyway, on the way home I noticed the rattle and my mate said that is what he was on about before. I have tightened the new gearknob by hand and it is tight but I don't want to over do it, especially if I have damaged my gearbox in anyway. I suppose I could put the old knob back on and see if it still happens.

Hi guys, I need a bit of advice- following on from my previous post 'aaaarrrgh please help' I reported a rattle from my gearstick which happens between 4.5k and 5.5k revs, nobody could seem to diagnose/guess what the problem could be.... Well today while driving I found that if I apply a small amount of pressure to the gearstick it stopped, i.e if I was in third gear, I push the gearstick a tiny bit towards the stereo and the noise stopped, let it go and the rattle continues, I called my mechanically minded mate and he said it could be the gear linkages, can anyone confirm or deny that this could be my problem and if it is can you tell me if its a big job and a rough idea of costs. Thanks.
