Thanks for the advice guys, I took my car to see Andy at cougar store this morning, he told me there will be no code stored as I would have wiped it during the ecu reset but he did put my mind at rest and the car seems perfect so I'm not going to lose sleep over it yet. I must say it is excellent having a zed specialist only 2 streets away, thank the lord for cougar store!

Mi light just came on, I just reset the ecu but did not see the code as I was trying to read the guide at the same time, the light has now gone off. I tried to record the code a second time but it flashed 10 times fast 3 times and I think that means no fault recorded. What now? Any help appreciated

Well this one comes with a lightened flywheel too, which is another 300 quid over here, or have I got it all wrong?

Hi everyone, here is my first attempt at detailing the zed, she was treated to a 5 hour autoglym makeover including : 1. Wash and dry 2. Full clay bar treatment 3. Super resin polish 4. Extra gloss protection There's nothing wrong with the passenger side of the car, I just forgot to go around the other side , but just incase you were wondering, its pretty much the same

Are you saying that you caused damage to anothger car just because they got too close to you?? if that is true ,which i doubt, and the other person had not damaged your car then your retarded and should have your car taken away from you. Look I was pi**ed off, it was a brand new car and I had to climb over the passenger seat and got a mud stain on it, maybe I did over react but the car was a battered old metro and the owner never had any respect for his car or mine, I did not break the wing mirror, i just covered the it in tuna and bread, same with the door handle, its not as if I dented his door and it was nothing a pressure wash couldn't fix. So I'm not retarded, and I certainly don't deserve my car being taken away, if it happened to your zed you would be pi**ed off too. Maybe it taught him a lesson and maybe it didn't but I just wanted to inconvenience him.

Oh and I forgot to say it does not make the noise if you shift quite slowly and gently but does make the noise on a normal to fast shift. Thanks

Hi can anybody tell me if it sounds like my gearbox is playing up.... when I change gear I can hear a bit of a clunk, it happens in all gears only as I move the gear stick, it is a noticeable sound but does not affect the gear change or performance, it is just a one off clunk as I change gear, are your gearboxes totally silent as you make the shift or am I just being paranoid? The car is a 54 plate with 69000 on the clock. Thanks

Wow, this is getting heated so here is my experience of parking... one day in my last car (58 leon fr) I parked on an end space and parked so my left front wheel was on the line so there was plenty of room for me to get out and so nobody would dent my door, when I returned some **** had parked so close to me that I had to climb over my passenger seat on a rainy day and mess up my interior, I was fuming so I frantically looked for a pen and paper to give them a piece of my mind... well I had no pen or paper but I had just bought a tuna mayo sandwich from gregs so I got back out and smeared the letters T W A T on their windscreen, I then shoved one half of the sandwich in their wing mirror and the other half stuffed as far up their door handle as I possibly could. I should point out that there was also at least 100 other spaces free within a 15 second walk, this lazy **** wanted to park as close to the entrance as possible, so now to avoid this situation I always park as far from any entrance as possible because people are lazy and they will do anything to avoid that 60 second walk across the carpark and I also park next to the most expensive car I can find, hoping they will have the same view as me by not wanting to damage there own or anyone else's car. I might be being a bit paranoid but now I always take number plate photos of the car I park next to, because people will damage your car and just drive off.

Hi and that is a fine beast you got there, infact its the same as mine, except I have the rays alloys, I thought the rays alloys came with the gt pack, maybe not. As the zed is already a stunning car I have decided to change anything that is not in good condition before anything else, like my worn gear knob and my driver's door interior switch surround that is all scratched and I just had a scorpion exhaust fitted by CS who did a fantastic job, the beast now sounds incredible,now when I drive down the road all I see is heads turn in a Mexican wave sort of way

Done it, here she is. Although this was taken about 2 day before the scorpion exhaust was put on and supplied by CS. Cougar store this was me before my exhaust- ... and this was me when I heard my scorpion roar for the first time- . Mitz and Andy can vouch for the grin.

I didn't want to buy a BMW as I didn't want people thinking I was an arrogant ****" My boss always calls mine a datsun and once he thought he would compare my zed to a datsun on the autotrader and all he could find were 240z's for about 17k+, that soon shut him up.
