  1. So basically we are treated as bunch of fraudsters and thieves just because we MIGHT leave in the same areas with the real fraudsters and thieves... That's very NON-DISCRIMINATORY and very EQUAL! Not!
  2. Thanks, I'm on the phone with them, on hold for checking the fitting price. They said they did not change a clutch on a 350z recently, therefore they don't know the price... Edit: Got a price of £250.00 + VAT (about 4-5 hours work at £50/h)
  3. I suppose is not something extremely difficult, any garage can do it... That's what I will do, take it to a different garage...
  4. This one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Exterior-Race-S ... 388&sr=1-1
  5. Just ordered mine as well...

  7. You are right, called them again now, they estimated another £350 for the flywheel, same model Exedy as your kit Alex. They will call me later today for the exact price. They biggest trouble when sourcing from a different provider like yourself, they don't want to give any warranty which I can't understand, really...
  8. Talking about roads and driving, try these two routes, night or day, doesn't matter, your Zed will love them, I promise! Drove Alfa Romeo 156 v6 2.5, BMW M5 E39 and many other cars at least three times a week, every single night on the summer nights http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 64187&z=13 and http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 64187&z=13 I'll come and join you for some driving when you move in Good luck finding your place!
  9. Called Japex Performance minutes ago, been advised not to fit uprated clutch kit as it worn twice faster on a standard (not supercharged) engine. Quoted £500.00 including parts, labor and VAT. Does that seem a fair price? Also, what could be the benefits of fitting a more expensive (at least double) uprated clutch on a standard engine? Japex are fully booked, the nearest available appointment is on 16th of May. Would you advise to drive the car before then?
  10. Lived in Ascot / Bracknell for nearly 3 years, loved Windsor, only 10 minutes drive, nearly every night going out for a drive from Ascot to Windsor! Good food restaurants, bar, pubs and clubs, gets very busy in the weekend, etc etc. You'll love it! Not to speak about the roads when you're going out for a drive, fun, fun, fuuuuun!
  11. Thought about that, was just reading here: http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/123-mai ... sibly.html
  12. Ref: viewtopic.php?p=713971#p713971 I was not in traffic, just left home about 2pm, car was off since the night before. As soon as I joined the motorway I realised that as it sounded strange to me, no traffic, just a mile from home to yhe motorway, all temperature gauges seemed normal...
  13. What are the other two topics please?
  14. Hi, Since yesterday the zed started to act strange when pressing on the gas pedal, for instance when pressing from 3k rpm it goes almost instantaneously to 4.5k rpm and as fast as that back to 3k rpm from where it start growing in rpms normally. Video bellow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gRO4hrl5V4 Tried resetting the ECU and setting the D1 spec controller again, no change, still does the same thing. Any idea what could cause it? Thanks
  15. Not a problem, always nice to share the knowledge and help, not only to ask for it! That is what a community is all about, like us here! You don't owe me nothing, don't worry
  16. If I was you I'd reorganise the first post on this topic with all necessary information, photos, details, specs, estimated build time and price. It would be a lot easier for the reader to gather all necessary information before making a decision to purchase it, instead of getting bored while reading the whole topic which will become 36 pages soon... What do you think?
