The crossfire has the 3.5l v6 merc engine and gearbox from the older SLK ( As its just a re bodied SLK - including interior.) This is what is in the std 300 The SRT crossfire was a very rare beast indeed but I dont think it was a V8 ( Not sure) but a supercharged V6

yeah i know some of the us cars have halogen dipped beams but not sure about the jap cars. Is yours uk

you already have hid on dipped beam if its a uk car

You could always put 100w bulbs in the hi beam and raise the low beam. Worked for me until I find 2007 lights at a reasonable price and has passed an MOT with no issues although was told the dipped beam was on the top limit!

Is there a 370z around Stafford on the forum who might want a free kit in return for being a guinepig. Would initially be looking to take some voltage readings and wire colours from the back of the mirror folding module. This would progress into a full fitting of the module. Once its in and working its yours!!

Did my penance 6 years ago and will never go back.Just did the cold turkey STOP. I think its all mental that if you have truly decided to stop then you willl. The module works off the 12volt signal to the door lock solenoid instead of using a stick on microswitch on the internal door handle mechanism. To get to the wires for the solenoid you have to take off the inner metal panel. I think there is no way to do this without taking out the glass. If there is then let me know. I will do a version with the switch if there is demand for it.
