  1. Afternoon chaps,

I've ordered a new rear spoiler this morning and I'm just after a bit of advice ahead of it's arrival.

Firstly, the old lip spoiler will no doubt leave some adhesive residue, what's the best stuff for removing this? Secondly, what's the best

3m tape to use for re fitting the new lip spoiler.

Any advice as always is appreciated.

    Cheers.

  2. Morning chaps,

Figured I'd resurrect this old post instead of starting a new one. I'm fully aware of the banana arm issues as I've replaced both on mine throughout ownership.

I replaced the drivers side arm last year as well as the drop link and hub assembly however i now have a a similar knocking again. I'm teetering on 100k so can anyone point me in the direction of what may be the next to go, lower control arm bushes maybe? I'm just trying to avoid the garage bills for "Fault finding" if i can point them in the right direction then it could save a few hours. May even be able to sort it myself.

    Cheers in advance.

    Hayd.

  3. Sorry, I should have said NEXT WORKING DAY, my fault! No, it doesn't include Saturday Delivery, so it leaves today and will be delivered on Monday.

No worries, it's actually better if it turns up on Monday as I'll be in the office all day. Okay all done, payment made via transfer. Cheers.

  4. Apparently I'll be looking at circa $275 for shipping!! that's half the cost of the carbon option. Better weigh up the pro's and cons.

She ended the email with the words "They're made to order so how many would you like and when do you need them by" she's optimistic I'll give her that.

Think I'll have to get drunk and order it "by accident"

I know its just a small bit of frp or carbon but imho, its the price you pay for something that hasnt been copied over here and every man and his dog sports one, if i had kept my 350 i was just about to pull the pin and buy the stardust rear spoiler, probably circa a grand landed.

Yeah it's a fair point is that. I'm reaching the understanding that it's not necessarily about doing it on the cheep but a case of doing it right. When i push the button on a new lip spoiler it'll be the Garage MAK one, 275 buck delivery or not. Then i can parade around like i own the world, or Town, start small.

I know of a guy who will bring it in for less than that, he specialises in hot rods, but will bring anything in.

http://www.langysrodshop.co.uk/ his mobile number etc are on the site, might be worth a call

That's worth knowing actually, cheers, I'll bare him in mind and maybe give him a call. There's a pal of mine with an American Porsche tuning chum who is preparing a few cars for uk events. I may be able to get him to chuck a few bits in the container with the cars. I'm in no rush really.

  7. Could well be this one buddy: GarageMak

Yes i think you're right, i found this last week after many months of searching. Just checking through my old posts to find these replies and you'd already found it ha ha. It's subtle but spot on for a casually modded 350. I'm sure a few people would want it if we could bulk buy and split the delivery. Potential.

  8. Afternoon Chaps,

Does anyone know if there's a Veilside copy front lip for the HR. I've searched my fingers to the bone but all i can find are mines

versions. I know they're close but the center section is different on the mines and i prefer the look of the Veilside's smoother lines.

Tarmac offers a bit of a hybrid version and i like it but it's only available for the DE.

If someone can tell me I'm wrong i'd actually be quite happy about it.

    Ta.

  9. I had the same issue with my Nismo leather and i bought one of these

    http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Did the job nicely at a bargain price.

That's great... would order one of these, but I see that they want £7.95 shipping to Luxembourg! That is absolutely ridiculous!

Specially when the item in question is £2.50, there's not many items in the sizes required that can be used as a finisher though i found.
  10. Take a blowtorch to it :)

Thats what I did with my backbox

    And my 350Z x Brace

That x brace looks awesome, must look great through the rear window. I'd be after something like that myself. Custom job i assume?
  11. North Yorkshire for me, Harrogate. See a few 350's kicking about. Some of you guys are really close, i work in Ilkley so always in and around these areas.

Saw a nice modded azure a couple of weeks back on bolton road coming from the abbey but we were both tanking it in opposite directions so there was no time to wave.

  12. Thanks for all of the love guys, pleasure to be a part of this :)

Hayd350 - Nina is grey. Was originally torn between grey and black though found her and I was sold instantly!

Nina! exotic. :) Nice choice, although i don't think they made the HR in a bad colour to be fair, black was always going to be my choice. I'm sure you'll be making your way through the almost compulsory list of early modifications and the traders on here will help you out with those too.

  13. I think if i emailed anyone about a "Passion Package" the missus would have a few a few things to say  . Looks great though and a good service to offer, I've been

looking at ways to correct the abuse of the last 7 years commuting and the costs are in the area i had in mind.
