  1. I have 5 UK spec phone cradles in stock but sadly not Bluetooth modules :surrender:

have you had any issues with faulty cradles in the past (not your stock but generally)

the only way i can get mine to connect is by pushing the adaptor into the connector, that way the amber light flashes and i get the tone through my speakers but as soon as i release the pressure it cuts off again. tested my adaptor in my uncles motor and it worked straight away. thinking its my cradle. what do you sell the cradles for?

  2. Checked out sky insurance as many of you guys on here recommended.

Nice to know there are insurers out there that appreciate the fact that you appreciate your car.

i'm 28 and running a late 08 350 GT, so naturally assumed with the rise in un insured drivers i was in for an emotional afternoon.

Thankfully Luke at sky understood that handbrake turns, drum and bass and burnouts where not one of my favourite pass times and gave me a quote that secured my faith in the world for another year.

Cheers to Sky and i suggest you all check them out before renewing your policies.

and no, you dont get a free parker pen just for enquiring. they'll just save you a few hundred quid.

  3. i run on 20mm front and 25 rears and it makes such a huge difference to the look of the 350, even makes it look

lower in my opinion which can only be a plus point in my book.

i wanted fat and low when i bought mine and was very tempted to go for 30's on the rear and 25's on the front but settled on the above setup and i'm glad i did.

Actually bought some springs at the same time to drop it but they've been gathering dust in my loft as i can't decide whether or

not to fit those as it looks loads better as it is.

I'm actually quite restricted with regards to lowering the car, as I have to go up a slope to reverse onto my driveway. At the moment, the clearance between the bumper and the surface is a matter of 2mm's (I can't even fit my finger through). Even someone heavy sitting in the passenger seat can cause the car to scrape the ground.

This is the reason I cannot lower the car otherwise that would have been the first modification I would have carried out.

Would the car look odd with 25/20's on standard suspension and RAYS?

nope, many people have done that same setup.

  4. i'm actually really mad

ok maybe i'm not i just figured i'd try get a ruler or a bottle opener or something else out of you as well.

cheers for the update, i'm away next week anyway so it'll be something nice to come back to.

    good times.

  5. Hey guys i was wondering if any of you have seen or heard of any lowering springs being a deep pink colour.

i picked some up for a decent price and i was told they cost over £200.00 at the time of purchase.

they're in good nick but no branding at all. its a pretty rare colour so just thought i'd see if anyone had any thoughts on who makes them.

    yeh i know, long shot.

    Cheers in advance.

  6. TBH mines says the same. paired but not connected. but try and make a call. it works!!! i didnt try and receive a call but i have no friends.:thumbdown:

i'll try it on route home and hopefully it'll work i guess i'll have to see if i can receive calls. no friends? ahh well pasengers only weigh you down.

  7. I had that too until I pushed the adaptor and it clicked into the cradle proper.

Perhaps there is a member near you that can help?

I actually though i'd give this a bash, forced the adaptor down towards the connection and it started to flash amber. paired but not connected is what i get now but its a step in the right direction. :yahoo:

  8. cheers guys, its been in the holder correctly but i've forced it down and held it and its started to flash, i've paired it with my phone its just not connected so i think i'm heading in the right direction.

the words "paired but not connected" are words i've read on here before so i'll do a search on previous threads to find my answer to this next stage.

    Hayd.

  9. Well played around with it a bit lastnight but victory is not mine.

its a red light on the adaptor from start, no sign of amber or green and my phone wont even find it to connect to so i have no idea whats wrong with it.

Cheers for your help though guys, its appreciated.

  10. not the most exciting problem isn't this i know.

if i turn the ignition on it shows red on the adaptor, is it possible that its still looking for the previous owners phone?

or is that a stupid thing to say. i take it you can't reset the adaptor or anything?

  11. i'll have to have a bit more of a mess about with it i think.

tried the usual, search for devices, seems to pick up passers by rather than my car and i doubt they'll want to take my calls.

i'll take the adaptor out and try it a few different ways round, even when i push the phone button on the steering wheel i get nothing in return so not sure if its faulty or weather i should give it to a 13 year old to sort out.

Cheers for your thoughts though guys.

  12. I did do a search but couldn't find the info.

Right i have the built in bluetooth and have the cradle in the centre complete with slot in adaptor.

considering its an 08 i didn't expect there to be any issues with connecting my phone up, well any phone actually.

I've been onto nissan website and they say its compatible with my i-phone, i couldn't pair it so got a sony ericsson x10 and this doesn't work either.

the lights are on, green and occasionally red, but nothing happens.

Is there a technique for pairing them that i dont know about?

Once paired is the option there to play mp3's through the bluetooth setup? (long shot i know)

i've seen a few for sale on ebay but i have a small trust issue with anything electrical on ebay.

Any help or direction would be good.

    Cheers.

    Hayd.

  13. cheers for your msgs guys, i'm sure i can rely on most of you for tips and tricks on upgrades and info in the future.

oh and i'll keep my drifts on the track i understand that other people may want to drive to work with out some tool passing them side ways

And if anyone can suggest a way of keeping a black 350 clean in this country that'd be great.
